Minato was tense as he entered the shed, and he glanced down at his feet as he accidentally kicked a stray soccer ball into a tangle of spider webs. Whoever had been in here had left balls all over the floor, and he had to navigate his way over them to take a closer look at the equipment strewn about. Balls, netting, helmets and padding… Many things that he could make use of if he had the time look over everything. But the boards of the activity shed were creaking, and he was already wary of the inhuman screams he had heard out on the field. The last thing he needed was to be caught by … something in an enclosed space like this.
He aimed his flashlight below the pegs where the helmets were hung when he saw something shine off the light. Baseball bats. There were several lined up, wooden and metal, and Minato quickly put his closet rod aside to heft up one of the metal bats. Light weight but firm, it couldn’t have been made out of anything particularly strong-probably aluminum, from what little he knew about baseball from
