The intercom's words grew more and more telling as the day neared its end. Faize now understood that to those running the institute, he and the other captives were the subjects of some sort of reeducation program, one which was responsible for the brainwashing of patients, visitors, and doctors alike. With the flashlight in his possession, Sechs had far less trouble finding his way down the hall than the first night he arrived here. Nonetheless, Sechs' instincts were on high alert; the whole place gave off nothing but unnerving vibes. The garbled announcement over the speakers didn't exactly help put Sechs' mind at ease either. "What the hell is wrong with that I.R.I.S thing?" the Replica pondered to himself, "it sounds like a Deckman having a seizure or something..."
As he approached the hall that Sechs agreed to meet Kibitoshin in, he began to wish he had a better means of looking around himself for danger. His cyborg eye enhanced his sight while Mini-Sechs would have kept a lookout for anything coming from behind. Thinking about his past abilities left Sechs feeling utterly blind...

For a minuscule moment Sechs could have sworn he saw a section of the wall beside him go translucent, giving way to the skeletal structure of the building. Perturbed, Sechs gave his eyes a quick rub before giving the wall another hard look. Yet the visual anomaly disappeared as quickly as it came.
Now that was worrisome... Was Sechs just seeing things? The imagery reminded Sechs of some sort of hologram. The thought of being trapped in some illusion, whether by physical or virtual means disturbed him. Shaking his head, Sechs pushed onwards to the next hall.

Machete resting easily against his shoulder, Jason fell silent as he stepped out into the mostly empty hallway. Two-Face had wanted to meet in front of the Sun Room. It wouldn't take him long to get there, he might even beat Dent depending on where his room was.
Keeping a cautious look out for any new surprises in store for tonight, he headed towards the end of the hall. These areas had tended to be fairly safe in the past but that might have changed. Last night's fun had been a first as far as he could tell and along with the change in the intercom it might signal a change in how things worked around here. He wasn't about to be caught off guard.
