Brainiac 5 had been planning to spend some more time in the sun room in order to check up on his attempt to gather more information about the different technology levels people were familiar with and to think about what his ancestor had said to him (not to mention try and keep an eye on Peter's activities before he did something else monumentally

After lunch, Mori felt a little better. Everyone seemed to be doing well and that left Mitsukuni in high spirits, which put Mori in high spirits, too. Seeing this place wear on his cousin was difficult on him; knowing that he couldn't do much to change the situation. He wanted to make sure Mitsukuni was doing alright, but when he had nurses breathing down his neck, it was hard. He couldn't follow Mitsukuni into the bathroom to make sure he brushed his teeth, or make sure he ate his dinner along with the desserts, or even get him a balanced meal in case he wasn't.
But lunch? Had been fun. And now Mitsukuni was running off to his next appointment and Mori was following - at least, part of the way. The tall blond was familiar and Mori knew him well enough to know that he wasn't harboring ill intentions (and Soubi knew Mori well enough to know that he could break him in half if he did) so Mori was content to let Mitsukuni go. Besides, there was someone else who needed help.
Mori stepped up next to the stranger (with a face that put Kasanoda to shame) and tilted his head at him. Someone to take him in? Apparently he wasn't allowed in on his own, despite him wanting to go in so desperately. Well, Mori was going in anyway to keep an eye on Mitsukuni, so why not? "I will," he said, putting a hand on the guy's wheelchair.

"Gotta be quick and see if there's any game boys, ok?" he ordered, thoughtlessly.

Eh, probably didn't matter.
Mori located a game boy and a few games (nothing too interesting or new, he realized), and brought them back to the stranger, holding them out to the guy. He looked pretty beat up, possibly from the scuffle last night or maybe from the day before. Whatever it was, Mori wondered why he hadn't been allowed in by himself.

"Hey! Good work!" he grinned, picking up the gameboy and.... "WHARGH?!" He lifted the arm with the cast and tried to move his thumb towards his fingers. Damn his limited mobility! He placed the Gameboy between both hands. It hurt to push his thumb down. It hurt!
"Can you believe this?!" he growled at Mori. "....Now whadda we do?" He could make this Takashi kid play or they'd have to find an easier game. A board game....

Wait, no, Gameboys required two hands. That wasn't going to work.
So what game could they play that Mori A) knew and B) didn't require the heavy use of both hands? There were always card games, but Mori was terrible at explaining those. While he thought, he reached down and picked up the Gameboy, rearranging it on the table so that it sat neatly next to the small stack of games. If they couldn't use it, someone else might want to.
And darn, that hadn't taken a lot of time. Games, games... Commoner games, even. Mori could feel his anxiety level rising as he realized he wasn't sure what to do and the stranger was looking at him expectantly. Even so, he returned the man's gaze cooly and then looked to the shelves that held the games. Cards - Uno? Oh, hey, Monopoly. That...seemed weird to play though, considering his family business. And yet it was something he knew. He liked the little dog statue. Going over, he picked up the deck of Uno cards and the Monopoly board, and returned, showing them to the stranger to see which he'd prefer.

"What're these?" he asked. Light had never played these kinds of game with him and you couldn't play on your own.... He picked at the corner of the monopoly box.
