Day 43: Game Room (4th Shift)

Brainiac 5 had been planning to spend some more time in the sun room in order to check up on his attempt to gather more information about the different technology levels people were familiar with and to think about what his ancestor had said to him (not to mention try and keep an eye on Peter's activities before he did something else monumentally

After speaking with Hanatarou the previous shift, Brook felt much more confident about himself not turning into a flesh-eating zombie. His nurse even commented about how good just talking with someone had done him as she left him in the next room. Games were an excellent ground-breaker for conversation - not quite as excellent at music, but Brook had already spent his time in the music room for the day. He had to change things up!

Everyone already seemed to be busy when he entered, and Brook hated to bother conversations already in progress. Well, maybe he didn't, but that applied more to those he knew. He didn't want to make the wrong first impression on anyone!

Finding himself a deck of cards, the musician had himself a seat at an empty table and began dealing out a hand of solitaire. He hadn't been able to play it even when he had been alone all those years - having cards to play with helped a great deal where that was concerned - but it didn't mean he didn't know how to play! Of course, games were always much more fun to play with others, so this was only a way to pass the time. Brook would welcome anyone who wanted to join him and perhaps play something else. He knew a few games to play.
