Dayshift 22: Courtyard (Evening Shift)
Axel left Kairi soon after he said his parting goodbyes, meandering his way to the other side of the Courtyard and slumped to one of the nearby benches. As much as the Nobody enjoyed being around Hearts, they proved to be exhausting after a while.
There was a considerable change in the temperature as it got later, a gust of wind causing him to shiver slightly. He thought of going back inside but decided against it in the end; when would be the next time they'd be allowed out here? And even though Axel had no qualms with taking a look around when Nightshift came, it would probably prove more useful to stay inside the building.
So with that thought in mind the Nobody twisted himself on the bench and leaned back until his whole body was sprawled across the wood, relaxing at the sights and sounds of his chosen scenery.
