here]"There's gotta be something here you can use..." Yousuke was a little proud of himself for having thought of this, even though it was possible they wouldn't find anything. It would also be less crowded here, at least for the time being. If they could take care of the zombies here and around it they might be able to hold up in there for

Concerns aside, along with the good thinking Naoto had been somewhat surprised Yousuke bothered going out of his way for her at all. She would have preferred to wield her usual handgun once more, but shouldn't he have worried more about himself? She could do just fine until then, and ... Well, they were here, and going back to do so would have been nothing short of utterly stupid.
She was confident there was something she could use around; a police station was familiar territory to her. Any qualified officer in Japan could own a gun, and America, if she recalled correctly, was more lenient on their laws regarding them; so if this all went according to plan, one would be around. Hopefully. For all she knew they simply up and vanished out of the building for whatever unfortunate reason it may be.
Any and all thoughts had to be on hold quickly though, as Naoto froze right behind Yousuke the moment he did. She immediately bit at her bottom lip, both surprised and completely ... unsurprised at the sight before them. Carefully, she eyed between them, Yousuke, and then Kaworu.
"Anywhere we'll go, we'll have to fight," Naoto noted in a low voice, as if it would be dangerous to let the two men who turned hear. Already she was darting her eyes across the office room, attempting to figure out a plan; what could be used for the quickest, most effective strategy? "Hanamura-senpai, Nagisa-san ... Are you ready?"

Regardless of that, he could not say he was unprepared, at least not in any sense where he would be shocked by what had to happen. What did he want? To fight? To resist? Or to allow himself to die again?
"I am ready," he whispered. "I will not let you down."

The second zombie lacked the power of the first, seemingly no stronger than the ones that surrounded the building outside. It came at Naoto on slow, uneven steps.

Stepping back, Naoto gave room for the contents of the desk to spill over; she glanced over them quickly before she had to make haste, as their current opponents didn't give them much room for thinking.
One of them had what she was looking for-- good. She wasn't out of luck this time, and all they had to do was defeat them both. Now hopefully that would be easy said and easy done.
The once sheriff had began advancing towards Kaworu-- but the other one started coming for her. Fortunately for them, they outnumbered the attackers (even if it was only by one person), so it made Naoto's next decision easier than if they hadn't.
"Senpai, cover for him!" Naoto ordered; whether Kaworu could fend for himself or not was still up in the air, so for now she wanted to play it safe. In the next moment, Naoto pulled what was a risky move for her, darting forward toward the zombie that was coming in her direction. Along the short way she picked up a small lamp that had tumbled and rolled around some along with the rest of the mess the toppled desk made, holding it firm between two hands as Naoto drew her arms back and swung. She wasn't very tall, so she couldn't hit easily any higher than at the chest area, but if it could be knocked down then the rest would be easy.

Now what he was going to go about this was another story entirely. Should he have armed himself first before coming here? Then these other people that were showing up would have faced this thing instead. Perhaps then they wouldn't have even gotten what they'd come for... not that there was any guarantee that they'd get it now...
It was too late to worry about that now! Yousuke needed to focus. Oh how he wanted a set of headphones and a MP3 player so badly. That might help him focus. The monster sheriff was coming right at them and the best he could think to do at the moment was swing his fist towards the creature's head. Could he risk summoning his Persona again so soon?

They seemed to find this all so natural. They were not afraid. For a moment, everything moved in slow motion, and he didn't even know if it was worth while to try and push through the haze. He had never seen Lilim move like this. There had been the implication that it was possible, but Kaworu never resisted the armed men that lingered in the laboratory. No one had ever attacked him. His hands hung limply at his hides as he watched Yousuke's arm tense and swing at the monster.

Meanwhile, the deputy was knocked to the ground, but was getting back up again the moment he fell. Limbs awkward and working at odd angles, the zombie was still just a little faster then his brethren, though nothing like the monstrous sheriff.

Only Yousuke was suddenly in trouble now, and Naoto didn't want to finish her part of their task if it meant someone else would get hurt in the process. She still held on to the lamp, now slightly more battered thanks to its previous impact seconds before, and spun around, using the same method on this opponent as she did the other one; with another swing, Naoto rammed the object into the sheriff's side.

Naoto had been distracted away from her own zombie to help him, and he'd have to take every opportunity he could get. There had to be something better around that he could arm himself with. What had been on the desk? A few pens? Some paperclips? A stapler? ...Yeah, that was it. He'd staple the thing to death. Perhaps the chair, though that was more Kanji's territory. Unfortunately, the sheriff zombie was inbetween him and any of that. He might be able to slip under its arms, but that could leave Kaworu vulnerable.
He might have to take his chances. "Come on, big and nasty. Show me what you've got!" he yelled, ducking around to its left.

Kaworu stepped quickly, dodging around behind Naoto until he found himself in front of the deputy. He watched its eyes and twisted limbs, searching for a shred of humanity that was not there. But Kaworu was not naive to their nature anymore, and so reached inside of himself and projected the energy outwards to defend against the inevitable.

With the easier target having moved, the sheriff roared and turned to follow Yousuke, who was now the closest. As the boy when to look for something from the fallen desk, the large zombie lifted the desk back up and prepared to toss it in his direction again. Naoto was completely ignored for the time being.

What was worse is that the deputy was charging right for him.
"Nagisa-san!" Naoto shouted, quickly stepping forward to shove Kaworu off to the side and out of the way. He couldn't act as some shield with nothing on him! "Go, find something first!"

There wasn't time to grab anything to use as a weapon, not that there was even anything remotely weapon-like besides perhaps a pen within immediate grabbing distance. He dove forward quickly, hoping to avoid getting squashed. This wasn't any good. He was still unarmed and this thing was brutal. They needed to take out one of them quick so they could focus on the other instead of being divided up like this.
If he used his Persona again, he might not be able to heal someone later if they needed it, but at the same time he'd like to be alive to have the option of trying. Perhaps if he used something that didn't drain the same energy...
His card appeared before he said the word and he crushed it with one hand as he ordered Susano-o to Bash his opponent. It had to at least be able to do that! As it appeared in a flash of red and blue, Yousuke had to bite back a cry as it suddenly felt as though he'd been slashed in several places. He could, in fact, feel blood start to soak the inside of his shirt from wounds with no visible source. This was going to get irritating real quick.

What he could label was the situation, and it was looking poor. The deputy and sheriff were too strong for them individually, and Kaworu was providing no tangible assistance. In the case that he sat back and allowed the two Lilim to fight their infected counterparts and protect him, they would likely die. After which, Kaworu would be targeted, and would also die. If he distracted one for a time, he might still be killed, but Naoto and Yousuke would be able to combine their strengths to stop each separately. They would survive. It seemed somehow the more positive outcome, and Kaworu might be able to defend himself. Though admittedly, he was losing faith in his own strength... He picked up an object off the ground, hopefully to put Naoto at ease. It was a three-hole puncher. Kaworu didn't like how heavy and unwieldy it felt in his hands, but it wasn't really for him.
"No," he stated, resisting Naoto more stubbornly. His voice momentarily held some firmness, but slipped back into light feathery tones soon after. "You must stop the other one first." Kaworu risked a glance over at Naoto, and touched the hand that was trying to push him aside. "Please trust me," he said, smiling faintly.

The deputy, meanwhile, wasn't going to wait for anyone to figure out who was attacking what. It lunged straight at both Kaworu and Naoto, planning to take a bite at whoever it could get a grip on first.
