But not really.
She had enough presence of mind to move the chair-on-wheels sharply out of the way of one body of decaying flesh, but needed her hands to punch another, arresting its movement mid-flight. "What is-" She trailed off as she realized the reanimated corpses acted oddly, as if they were mindless. Not like the army of rinshi she'd once commanded at all, who'd at least been given a purpose. They didn't physically resemble the rinshi, either. If it weren't for the ki, she wouldn't have made the resemblance.
The corpse was already getting up, reaching for her ankles. She had, by now, gotten used to the numb feeling in her legs enough to kick. She couldn't be sure, however, of its effectiveness. Without looking to see if her kick even connected, she had grappled with the chair and sped off.
The changing scenery was new, though.
