That was why, of course, it had to be interrupted. This was Landel's, where nobody could be allowed such luxuries as happiness for very long. Or so Yue thought, as, alerted by the sights and sounds heralding an early start to the evening, he gently but firmly pushed his false self to one side and assumed control of his own body.
Impossibility piled on impossibility and now the dead themselves walked the streets of Doyleton, and all he could think of was those he needed to keep safe. Touya was there with him, which left - Sakura. She'd already been injured the night before, and Yue couldn't allow anything of the sort to happen again. Even if she had found relative safety for the moment, she had to be frightened by the situation.
"We have to find her," the guardian flatly stated, rising to his feet again, hand still joined with Touya's as though he'd forgotten about that fact. The 'her' didn't really need to be explained, he didn't think; Touya's thoughts would be following the same lines. Unfortunately Yue was too far away right now to pinpoint her location, but they'd start by heading toward town.
And they had to do it quickly, while unarmed. This should prove to be...interesting.

One moment a dream, the next a nightmare.
"Sakura," he breathed, standing up and finding himself running towards the town, hand in hand with Yue. How he'd gotten there, he didn't remember or care. They had to find her.
