Dayshift 42: Wicker Street [Afternoon]
Kurt had spent most of the past few hours wandering around with his curious-face on. Sure, some people looked at him a little funny, but most seemed nice enough to simply smile or wave instead of turn around in fear of a crazy-person attack. It felt weird, though, walking around a different town without being looked at accusingly.
The mutant poked his nose into several shops, always shying away when someone invited him in. He hadn't found anyone to hang out with, either. Everyone seemed to be with someone. Maybe he should have found Kon or something... his friend hadn't shown up last night, that might have been bad, yeah?
Digging his coupons out of his pocket, Kurt looked through them, wondering if he should bother to use any of them. It was already past noon, after all. Twin Pines... well, that was right in front of him. Maybe he should have a late lunch.
