Saïx had been known to keep to himself, limiting his interaction with even his own peers in the Organization to the Superior as much as possible. With a glare at anyone who might be looking she stalked over to a book shelf and grabbed a hard back book. Then she sat on the floor, in the corner and out of the way, book spread out on her lap. Her posture was stiff and she was clearly not reading the book. Kiden was still pissed.

Lost in thought, she barely noticed the other girl in the stacks she'd wandered into. Instead, she was focused on a book on an upper shelf - A Little Princess. Something simple. Something with a happy ending.

Claire realized she was half rambling, and closed her mouth. She wasn't sure the other girl really wanted company or was simply being polite.

"I've been here just a bit longer. Maybe even longer than that, but not too long. It's easy to miss people here, I've found. You from some crazy world too? Or say, New York?" Kiden asked hopefully.

"No place crazy," Claire said, smiling. The whole "different worlds" thing did get confusing. It was always nice to see someone from home. "I'm from Texas, and it's about as boring as tumbleweed."

"I'm from New York," She added, just in case that hadn't been clear. Kiden had never been out of New York, actually. Well, she was now, wherever and whenever now was.
