Easy as the path to the janitor's closet might be in theory, there was apparently always something that was going to pop up and make things a little more interesting. As Harvey moved down the hall, the first strange thing he noticed was how he suddenly started to feel very warm. It wasn't so much a rise in the outside temperature as a rise in his own temperature, which didn't make sense. Why would he feel like he just got a fever in the space of a few seconds?
Either way, the warmth was uncomfortable enough that he paused for a moment to catch his breath, and that was when he heard the sounds of a fight going on nearby. Trying to remain inconspicuous, he moved a little further down the hall until he could see what was going on.
Some patient who was pretty much shirtless by now (also because of the heat?) was fighting... something. Harvey couldn't make out all of the details of what it was, but he could tell that it was female in theory. It definitely wasn't human, though -- but coming across something that was so close to human while also having aspects that made it monstrous was far more disturbing than the dogs he'd seen last night.
She (it?) was also hovering. Hovering.
Harvey knew he was no looker, but this was a whole other level of deformed. Gritting his teeth, he started to quickly move past the fight, not wanting anything to do with it if he could help it. He also seriously hoped he stopped feeling like he was burning up soon.
