Javert set to work on the other hinge wordlessly, uncomfortably aware of the noise they were making. He made a mental note to invest in a set of makeshift lock picks the next time he had to venture up here; Trevelyan would no doubt have a field day, but that wasn't something that worried him unduly.
The door gave way soon enough, and Javert stepped through.
Once again the door ahead of Wesker was open. The locks busted. Wesker was surprised that lock picks weren't more common here, considering the number of locked doors. The doors were simple enough to break down for the most part, at least.
Depth Charge barely had time to answer as both men passed. Someone was in a hurry. Not that he was going to let himself be worried by it too much. What did catch his attention, however, was the fact that they seemed to be heading in exactly the same direction as them. And that, just to top things off, a couple of the voices he could hear amongst the low hum of conversation floating out of one of the rooms ahead were familiar to him.
"Looks like we're not the only ones in the area tonight," he remarked thoughtfully. He caught Forte's eye. "No monsters. I know a few of those guys." Hadn't S.T. said something about being a scientist? Using the lab would've made sense. "Let's go."
Nothing of interest here. Javert kept walking, jiggling the flashlight instinctively as it flickered. That seemed to solve the problem temporarily, though who knew how long that would hold?

Another hall, and again the door had been opened. Edgeworth kept up that quick pace as he moved down the hall and through the door.
