From here. Outside F3]Because she needed to get to Orihime and Shiki's room before either of them left, Ururu had practically run the short distance down the halls. Normally she might not, since she knew better than to run inside. Tessai-san didn't like it when Jinta-kun did that at the shop especially, since something usually ended up broken

Focus, Matt. No, don't focus too hard. Move the eyes elsewhere. Or don't. He was completely lost as to how he should respond. Some part of him, that was slowly getting pushed to the background, was yelling at him to be cautious, while the part doing the pushing was screaming why are you hesitating , a hot chick wants you.
"R-right. Well." He raised his hands from his sides, found himself at a loss on what to do with them, then set them down again. "It's just a bit hard to, uh, haven't I said this already? In what way do you mean to, uh..."

She allowed a measure of hope to creep into her expression, reassured by the fact that he wasn't trying to push her away, even though uncertainty remained. He certainly wasn't encouraging anything, of course, but still there wasn't any outright rejection.
The blanket slipped just a little more away from her bare shoulder as she moved one more step closer, hand sliding across his vest to curl lightly around the sleeve opening. Just a little bit of pull there encouraged him to move toward her as well, and she leaned in to cut off his stammering with a kiss.

They'd already kissed before. This was nothing new. Her being this close to him while there was so little between him and her bare skin, however, was going to drive him crazy. He let her silence him, and after the initial freezing-up reaction he allowed himself to calm, placing shaky hands on her shoulders.

As she did she pressed against him, exerting just enough pressure to encourage him to step back without being blatantly obvious about it. Back, farther into the room, toward the nearest bed. (Which happened to be Yuffie's, but it wasn't as though her roommate was there to object.)
With her attention ostensibly focused on other things, though, her one-handed grip on the blanket went slack, and it slid farther down her arms until Robin's hands on her shoulders found only bare skin.

The back of his calves hit the edge of the bed and he sat down on it automatically, pulling away from her a bit in the process. That nagging voice was still there. This was too easy. Things shouldn't be going this way.
What if she was being controlled by someone or something. What if she was some sort of alien hive-mother, looking for a victim to help spawn hundreds of little alien larvae that would slowly grow in him and eat him away form the inside out before turning on the rest of the Institute's populace?
That was an overactive imagination. And really? Who the fuck cared?
"Shit," he managed weakly.

Ayumu lowered herself to sit beside him a little less abruptly, lifting her free hand to gently brush his hair from his forehead, fingertips trailing lightly down along his cheek. "I've always been alone," she said, voice soft enough to be barely audible. "Alone, and scared, and here...I'm tired of it."
Though she'd been taking the lead up to that point, now she hesitated a little, as though waiting for some kind of cue from him before pressing any farther. "I like you, Robin," she repeated, her hand trembling for an instant against his skin as her eyes met his with an almost pleading look.

He swallowed thickly. "I, uh, I like you too." His voice was a bit shaky as he answered. Did he love her? No. He hadn't known her long enough to have developed those sort of feelings, even if she'd seemed very interested in being with him. Did he like her enough to be willing to try a little physical intimacy? Hell yes.

The response appeared to be what she was waiting for, or close enough to it, for she smiled and allowed her hand to slide down to rest on his shoulder. For a moment she seemed about to say something, but after a brief pause she merely leaned in, closing the small distance between them to resume the interrupted kiss.

Way to be embarrassing. In an attempt to make up for it, he unzipped the front of his vest and pulled it off, tossing it aside before leaning in to wrap his arms around her. The less fabric he had between those and him, the better.

Ayumu gave a startled blink as he moved back, confusion giving way after a second to concern, but at least the bleeding didn't seem serious. She was starting to wonder, though, if Robin could handle the situation; she was supposed to be earning his trust, after all, not giving him a heart attack.
"If you don't want to..." she began, letting the comment trail off into a questioning note. The tone of her voice, though, and the way she quite willingly pressed up against him again said that she hoped very much that he did want to.

Breath somewhat ragged, he leaned forward to finish the kiss she'd started to continue before. He'd be damned if he was going to let one embarrassing slip-up ruin this opportunity for him.

With a soft, pleased sigh she met and welcomed the kiss, hands closing around the material of his shirt and drawing him closer still. And as the kiss progressed, she slowly began to lean back, pulling him with her to the bed.

Fuck, yes. He was a man.
A man that wouldn't be rising from bed any time within the next few minutes, but a man all the same. Matt peered at Sen through half-lidded eyes, raising one still slightly shaking hand up to brush through her hair. Shit, she was gorgeous.
Should he be saying something? She'd seemed far too experienced to need any comfort from him, so for the moment he stayed quiet. Were you even supposed to say anything after this type of thing? 'I love yous' or whatnot, perhaps. Well, he couldn't offer that.
"Shit," he breathed instead.

"Mmm?" Ayumu smiled a little and stretched, apparently as lazy and content as any housecat, before resettling a little closer to him, her voice a soft murmur. "That's good, right?"
It would be good to know what he was thinking - if he was thinking right now. There was simply too much she didn't know about him in order to understand him, but he clearly wasn't like most of the samurai she'd dealt with in the past.

The arm that wrapped around Sen was slightly possessive. "That was, uh... wow. Do you think we can do this again sometime?"
