[from here]Beatrix wasn't sure how well she'd be able to defend herself well enough should Ophelia take the time to actually hunt her down, to exact revenge, before HK-47 arrived. She had her katana with her and had taken more oxycodone before leaving her new room, so she should be able to at least hold the bitch at bay if she must

Flashlight in hand, Mitsuru went out the door and down the hall.

Meche took a seat at her desk and waited, leaving the door ajar just a crack to make it easier for them to find her.
Izuru and Yamada. Who were they? Meche wasn't familiar with either of the names; definitely no one she'd met before. More death gods, like Senna and her boss? She wondered if they'd have collapsible scythes too. Boy, wouldn't one of those be useful right about now.

With all her things in order, Donna went to the door and slipped out with a grin and a wave back at Meche.

Hanatarou cautiously made his way down the hall, counting room numbers until he found the right one. F32 - and it appeared nobody else was here yet. Or they were just waiting inside, to be safe. Hopefully he wasn't about to get in trouble from Kira-fukutaichou for being late - but at least he had an excuse.
The healer cleared his throat quietly and gave a nervous rap against the partially-open door. "Er, Colomar-san? A-are you here? It's, um, Yamada Hanatarou."

"Good evening. Thanks for coming," she greeted him. Poor kid, he looked a lot more like a healer than a reaper. Where she came from, they all had a streak of salesman confidence that was noticeably absent here.
Well, hopefully he had good backup, but she didn't see anyone else in the hallway. Was the other one like a reaper, invisible to the living? Might be a little tough to work with someone she couldn't see or hear. "Is your partner with you? Your leader told me we'd also be working with someone called Izuru."

She had seen fit to do so once, she was told, and she understood what reasoning would have led her there. A guardian to those who gave succor to the injured... it was a role she thought Hayate would have approved of. Or, perhaps reasoning was the wrong word... where she felt she knew Hayate's will, she acted on that feeling, with far less consideration than she otherwise would have give.

Now came the matter of what to do for the night. Donna had never been one for planning out things, or at least not since she'd partnered up with the Doctor, so she had no companion and no plans for the evening. She did know, however, that she needed to get out of her room and actually do something for a change. Enough of babysitting and beauty sleep! She was as beautiful as she could get in this dump! And the next brat she found would get his hide tanned!
After fiddling with the torch a moment, Donna shone it down the end of the hallway and sighed out a, "Well, best get a move on," to herself. Things wouldn't get themselves done, and she couldn't just keep on standing around waiting for someone else to do them either.

Donna. Speak of the Brit and she appeared.
"Heading anywhere special tonight?" she asked, her tone friendly, but she'd become too much of the assassin again to get the coldness completely out of her voice. It was definitely in her eyes.
There was nothing she could do about it, and, frankly, she didn't care. Donna would either accept it or not.

With the torch's light, Donna was able to see more of Arlene than she had at first, and nothing of what she saw sat well with the redhead. "Though it looks like you went and got into a spat with one already," she said, half-joking and half-shocked, "Just what did you go and get yourself into? And don't you tell me all that hasn't been seen to properly, or so help me..." While things at least looked as though a professional had taken a look, Donna did not trust that Arlene had let anyone get that close that she didn't know.

Beatrix's eyes flashed for a moment as cold anger surged briefly. "The bitch lives only because I was denied to time to take her head. We'd all be better off without her."
She then looked a little annoyed. "And, yes, the staff saw fit to see to my wounds come morning, so stop acting like an overprotective mother hen."

But Tsubaki hadn’t gotten to ask about the clinic. Oh well… it wasn’t too important, and there was always later.
Meanwhile, she had a partner and a task to attend to as well, and they deserved her attention. Her ninja outfit, Tsubaki pulled from the closet and donned in the dark, something she was getting used to. Getting a new flashlight was getting pushed further and further down her list of priorities. Tucking the radio (would it even get reception outside?) and an empty pillow case away, she adjusted an armband before setting out.
What would the forest be like that night, if they managed to make it…? And what was with that voice on the intercom?
