[from
here]Itachi proceeded past the center of the main hallway, heading toward the east wing. He had not been over here much, except for that notable night when he had not been acting of his own will. The memory still smarted, a reminder of why he should take his mission here seriously, why he had to defeat Landel and leave this place. With

Endrance stood with one hand on the Sun Room's doorknob. He was almost hesitant to turn it; he didn't know what would be behind it. Would the false Mia be there, too, ready to taunt him again?
After a moment's hesitation, with his hand trembling on the doorknob, he turned it, slowly. What would be inside? He couldn't say. But at the same time, he couldn't turn away now.
He took a long, deep breath, then stepped inside.

And that was it. Sasuke slowed in front of the Sun Room, listening as closely as he could for signs of anyone else and completely unaware -- so far -- of how closely his footsteps had followed that of someone else's.
Someone he'd been following for a long, long time.
Someone whom he was unlikely to see, bar exceptional circumstance. And so it was that Sasuke just missed Itachi as he stopped in front of the Sun Room to wait for Aidou's third. A tall non-human, as described by the vampire; a different way of moving, then? Or similar, as in the case of Aidou?
Sasuke was going to have to play by ear on this one. Quite literally.

In this case, the rapid sequence of clicking obviously meant something at least partially armoured, probably an insect of some point.
A fast and large insect -- before Sasuke quite expected it there was a light touch against his leg that made him jump back on instinct, clearing a few feet of space. The thing moved loudly enough for Sasuke to know where it was, but he couldn't be sure of how big it was or exactly what shape it was without checking.
The last time he'd fought something alone he'd learned that lesson. With that in mind, Sasuke flickered briefly into the Sharingan, glancing down the hall -- and caught sight of not the roach's animal chakra but another gleam of movement, this one more familiar. Intensely familiar.

Headache was giving away to dull throbbing pain that seemed distant from her mind, separated by a layer of wool. Why was there wool in her skull?
Pondering this mystery, the youkai stumbled into the Sun Room.

...She was starting to recognize this route. Mele looked backward. Had she come this way before? Ah, in the day. It was the same place in the night and day, so obviously there would be places she'd know in the day. Night and day were so different, she'd forgotten. So why, this freedom at night...?
Absorbed in her thoughts, Mele absently stepped into the Sun Room.

Harley moved her flashlight arm to check the shadows as they walked. This stupid big hallway was one of the ones where things liked to pop out a lot... Luckily, she'd been through here. Yeah, it was to follow Crane-y, but she still remembered well enough. She pointed a finger at one of the big pairs of doors in the hallway. "In here... I think."
It was this one, right?
[sure as hell hoping she's right as she leads them over here]
