On the other hand, bringing a still-injured Lelouch out to an exposed area like the recreational field before he had the damn bat was asking for trouble. Admittedly he couldn't treat Lelouch like a child, and his Prince would have to go out into the Institute at large at some point if they were going to accomplish anything, but this particular scenario left something to be desired. (And it raised the question of why Suzaku felt the need to protect Lelouch beyond what was absolutely necessary, but he didn't have time to wrestle with that now, and it probably just had to do with knightly honor anyway ( ... )

This was pissing him off. It'd been pissing him off all day. Kidnapping and sending monsters running after them during the night was one thing, but after screwing with Rufus and now Elena?
Practicality could go to hell. Burning this place down was really starting to take priority over getting out.

The vision gave him a general direction, which was out in some hall, somewhere. It also gave him the tentative pressure of a near-future headache, which he ignored. He had no weapons but his fists, but in a little while that wouldn't matter. He took his flashlight and headed out the door.
