Utena had been a bit startled by Edward's sudden savage look, but didn't let it get to her. Obviously this Hughes person was someone close to Edward; of course he would be outraged to hear that he had disappeared. Her own expression became more serious at that, especially as Celes began speaking again.
Looking to the light of Celes's flashlight, she followed the woman out of the block. Along the way, she noticed Seiya, who was with someone who appeared to have suffered burns of some sort. She really, really didn't want to know what had caused those burns, or if it had originated from where they were headed. Don't think. Just go. She can take care of him, Utena told herself. Seiya didn't seem to have noticed her, but she gave the other woman a look of support anyway before they made their way to the male patient block.
Utena peered over Celes's shoulder as the door of M6 opened up. There was no reply to the woman's call. Whoever the occupants were, they were both long gone. "What sort of stuff should we see if he's been in here? Any special items or clothes or anything he usually leaves in his room?" she asked quietly as they entered the room.
Ed followed silently after the two women, arms folded over his chest and his expression still dark and angry. If Hughes was gone... it didn't even bear thinking about. He couldn't lose him again. He wouldn't let that happen! If it had then... then... then he wouldn't let this place stand any longer! He'd make Landel regret ever touching people who belonged to Edward Elric.
He stopped when the others did and peered into the room, scowling when there was no sign of Hughes anywhere in there. "Knives," he said quietly. "He had some kives. And a gun and a box of ammo." He didn't like telling them that, but he couldn't keep it secret if they found it anyway.
"Thank you," she told Ed, the slight inflection of her voice grateful. She motioned for the others to follow her in and quickly began tearing down the room, opening drawers and searching. But there was nothing. Nothing at all. No knives, no... 'gun'... not a single casing. Infuriated, Celes stalked out of the room, Heading for the first.
"Search the other rooms, we'll meet back here in twenty minutes," Celes' eyes were hard and cold as diamond. Unlike Ed, who wore his rage and fury on his face, Celes' burned bright and cold. "Move out."
Utena felt a little bad that they were tearing apart someone's room, but didn't protest, knowing that it was necessary. She looked disappointed when they came up with nothing, especially upon glancing over to Edward's angry expression again.
She nodded firmly at Celes's instructions. "Got it. I'll let you know right away if I find anything," she answered, a look of determination in her eyes. She may not have known Hughes personally, but if he was important to her new companions, then he was important to her too.
