Yuffie was in two minds about how the 'meeting' with Orangello had gone. No, scratch that; two was way too small a number. Maybe four? Or five, no, make it six. Maybe. The only thing she knew for sure was that something had to give, and it sure wasn't going to be her. Whether or not she actually joined up with anybody was irrelevant, as long as she

Damn! It had just been on the tip of her mind! Mele glared at the nurse as she was lead somewhere else after her conversation with Scar. He'd named some place she hadn't recognized, but something in her mind had reacted to it; probably the mention of "pride"....
Flowers. Flowers, sun, Sun Room...oh right, the bulletin! Mele whirled, but the nurse wasn't in sight anymore and since Mele hadn't been paying attention to where she was being lead, she didn't really have a hope of trying to backtrack. She was going to have to fix that. Damn. Another chance lost.
She remembered the pens she'd seen in her drawer (and her roommate's). She'd probably need to go get one.
For the moment, though, she was in a house of flowers, and it looked like she was going to have to wait until the nurse came to move her somewhere else. Why she was going along quietly with this....
Flowers. They were...yellow. GekiBlue had liked flowers, hadn't he? Or maybe she'd misheard and he...didn't. Though Mele had been eavesdropping at the time, she hadn't really given a damn about that part.
Mele folded her arms, completely unaware that she standing behind someone.

The yellow flowers reminded Chise the one day where she decided to buy flowers for Shuji, only to realize after giving the flowers that it was the boyfriend's job to give his girlfriend the flowers. Thankfully, Shuji had forgiven her (and called her 'stupid') for the flowers.
Lost in her memories, she didn't notice the stranger's presence behind her.

Yep, all women here. Just her luck. She had to play by the rules, then. She hadn't already spotted him so she had to use something else.
...She was standing behind someone. Mele stopped just short of actually smacking herself on the forehead. Though if she'd let her guard down this far, she might as well have-
To make herself feel better about her lapse in attention, Mele ducked around to see the other girl's face. "Hey."

"I-I'm sorry I didn't see you there," she apologized while brushing herself off and bowed. "Nice to meet you, I'm Chise." Looking up at the woman, Chise automatically noticed the odd hairstyle the woman was sporting. She quickly looked somewhere else, trying not to be rude.

Well actually, they weren't. It was odd to be taller when she was usually the shortest one in a group.
"I'm Mele." Her gaze drifted across the place, noting her roommate, the pink-haired lady she was talking to, some other pink-haired ladies, some blondes...hmm. None of them were practitioners of Juken, though. Would Long go for non-Juken-
Yes. He would. "Know anything about this 'institute'?" It was almost an idle question. But something told her that there should be a common link. She hadn't spotted any of the Sougenshi, after all. Though whether or not he would do that to his own followers....

Normally, she was the one who asked people about the institute, but now somebody else was asking her. She tried to recall everything the others had told her. "Um...from what I know so far, the most important thing to know is that the institute is very dangerous at night and that monsters roam around. Also, the staff are convinced that all of us, the patients, are mentally ill, although all of us believe that we aren't crazy. I think there are a couple of people that are trying to form a plan to escape."
She stopped for a moment to recall another important fact. "Oh, and if you had any powers or abilities before coming here, they're all suppressed to some degree."
