Stepping more fully into the frame, he turned back to the two other ninja, gesturing towards the hallway with a quick flick of his head.
"Stairs are this way," he said succinctly. He'd let his grip on the bat lighten while talking to the others -- his guard slipped without his consent. Sasuke gritted his teeth, tightened his hold on the makeshift weapon, and slipped through the door, keeping to the wall.
