Harry had eaten his dinner quietly, barely acknowledging his roommate's presence. He was going to see Peter again soon and that was all he could think of. Even if it wasn't his Peter, he was close enough. He had to remember to warn him about Brock, to make sure the bastard couldn't catch Pete unaware before Harry could take care of him.
He began to collect his things as soon as night fell and the doors unlocked, scowling at the sound of the head doctor snoring over the intercom. It felt like they were being laughed at, like they weren't even worth the effort required to watch them struggle. Not that he was making a spectacular argument to the contrary as he tried to figure out if he could manage to carry his flashlight with a crutch and a broken arm.
It really wasn't going to happen.
He'd arranged to meet Peter in front of the patient blocks in the main hall and he had been that way plenty of times before. He should be fine to find his way in the dark. Fitting his flashlight into a pocket as best he could, Harry limped through the door and out into the corridor.
