"What fume-addled asshole of an architect designed this labyrinth of dicks?" spat Spider, nearing his destination. "If all the nurses were in my cellblock, and someone set this cellblock on fire, it would take fucking FOREVER to ..." Spider pulled open the door to the next interminable hallway. New hallway she'd never been in before, and it was dead empty. Pun intended. Well, if this didn't give one the heebie-jeebies... Good thing the door she was looking for was right over there. No long treks through the dark. And to think a week ago she wouldn't have given the gloom a second thought...
Oh, well. At least this hadn't been a long walk across the whole building. Hopefully, she hadn't kept the guy waiting too long that she'd have to deal with someone ticked off on top of everything else.

If he stood still, Teisel could feel the slight draft of cool air coming from the doors that led to the field outside. Ha. A tailwind. Turning right, he reached out to feel the wall again and started the long walk to the main hallway.

The hall looked surprisingly empty. It was almost strange, until Akihiko remembered that it was like this almost every night. He shrugged it off and kept moving.

Hobbling along the hallway, Harry made his way towards the spot he was meeting Peter. It was slower going than he'd expected, as the darkness forced him to be even more cautious about where he was going. It would be too easy to run into something or someone in the blackness of the halls. There wasn't even anyone else around who's light he could use to guide himself. He should've asked Peter to come to his room. But that was so dependent, so pathetic.
He'd rather be stuck moving along at a crawl, keeping as close to the wall as he safely could with a crutch, than admit he was that reliant on Peter. It was bad enough he'd barely done anything besides getting injured since Peter went missing, he had to prove to himself he didn't need Pete there constantly holding his hand and telling him everything would be fine. He didn't.
