Day 39: Intercom, Noon
The intercom clicked on and the Head Doctor sounded as cheery as ever.
"Good afternoon, everyone, and I'm sure you're all looking forward to our most sought-after of lunches... pizza! That's right: we're serving pizza by the slice with an assortment of popular toppings - cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, veggies - for you to pick and choose from. In addition, we have garlic bread and mozarella sticks with marinara sauce for dipping, and we also have our regular choice of drinks - that is: water, milk, and juices.
"We also, of course, have all the regular benefits of our salad bar available. And on that note, I hope that all of you who had therapy sessions did, indeed, benefit from them, and I also hope that the new patients that we have coming in today will benefit from our intensive treatment.
"I hope you all continue to have a great day and I look forward to talking to you again!"
