Night 38: Intercom, End of Night
"Eheh... ahah.... ahahaha..."
The static was louder than usual over the intercom, as if the Head Doctor didn't have anything of real importance to impart upon his captives.
"She didn't even show her face tonight, did she? Or rather, her voice..."
Another crackle.
"Perhaps she's gone the way of the Jack..."
He let out a chortle and then took in a breath.
"By the way, so sorry to keep you all waiting on those caverns. Had... other things to attend to. I'll make sure to make up next time. Maybe even give you a... helping hand..."
He laughed again and the intercom gave a mechanical whine just before its sound disappeared entirely.
