A blast of cool air hit Indy in the face as soon as the door went down. He estimated the temperature at the high 30s, maybe low 40s Fahrenheit. Not a bad temperature for preserving bodies, at least in the short term, and good reason to zip up his jacket.
The room looked pretty empty to him. Three slabs, all unoccupied; cabinets around the walls. Two doors on the left wall, which he knew from the map lead to a pair of autopsy rooms and thence back to the lab. If there were any corpses here, they weren't out in the open.
"All right," he said to Pierson, "where do we start looking?"
