He came across an empty hallway, but the boy gave no indication of stopping. There was no point; he was in a hurry, after all. Though lacking a flashlight made the area difficult to see, Ken had gone through this enough times to not miss the necessities. Good thing for someone who needed to travel quickly.

Everything was pretty quiet, at least so far. Phoenix did a quick scan of the hallway with his flashlight before heading toward the door. This was a little less-nerve wracking, dressed in his usual clothes. He knew that the colors he was wearing were darker, and actual shoes didn't make that horrible flop-squeak that the slippers did.

We've had some good times, haven't we, suit? We've done a whole lot of stupid things together. Phoenix smirked a little at the thought, pushing open the door at the end of the hall and checking out the next area. There was a guy waiting next to the door, but otherwise nothing much. Reassured that it was clear, he kept going. Might was well make good time while things were reasonably quiet.

Still following the path the nurse had led him on, Lugnut went left as he left his hall, through another dark, empty hallway.

Hmph, was there no security at night?

The hall was quiet -- not the bustling thoroughfare it had been last night -- and it gave him the creeps. How many rooms were there in this section? This place should be hopping.

Maybe he'd missed a memo. "Dear Patients -- don't go out tonight, the aliens are hungry. XOXO, Landel's Personal Psycho Secretary" At least there weren't any atmospheric creaking or dripping noises. And the corridor was entirely free from any sort of green slime, ichor, or other non-human bodily fluids.

Speaking of which -- better make a pit stop. His kidneys had successfully filtered the excess chlorine and assorted related carcinogens from the drinking water at dinner.

Still way too quiet. But it was as familiar as the territory got when he'd been here less than twenty-four hours. If 'hours' meant anything.

Time to get a move on, S.T. Roll on down that lonesome highway.

Finally, he was almost there! Now...

Now he just needed to figure out which hallway the traitor's room was on. This could end up taking a while...
