“Huh?” It took Yuffie a moment, but then it clicked. “Oh, that anonymous person who asked about us on my bulletin post?”
It was a bit of a longshot, but that was all part of who she was. Guessing, jumping to conclusions, making stuff up and hoping for the best… Besides, Yuffie couldn’t think of any other good reason would somebody ask about ‘kunoichi’ like that. Unless Anonymous really had been just curious. But hey, where was the fun in that?
She swung her legs beneath her chair, her smile turning smug. “Dunno about you, Mizuho, but I like showin’ off.” It was another one of her many talents, after all.
Her smile faded to something bordering on a pout at Sheena’s next words, but it was brief; she‘d been hoping to hear something… Well, something that wasn‘t that. After a moment, the pout gave way to a roll of the eyes and a raised brow. “Damn,” she whistled, leaning back in her chair. “Was she serious? Like really serious? I mean, I’m all for letting this place know that it can’t stop us from having fun, but…”
It wasn’t the same. Yuffie could recognize the seriousness of the situation, even if she didn’t acknowledge it all the time.
"Nothing wrong with showing off, but the tell me eventually everyone else gets tired of not being as awesome," Sheena said with a shrug.
"And yeah, she really was serious. She also hadn't even introduce herself before she grabbed me and dragged me over to the center of the club meeting." Sheena bristled. "She's just lucky I don't like being sedated or she would've gotten a nice Mizuho boot to the head."
She shook her head. "Anyways, the cross-dressing club seems to be focused first on getting dresses and stuff from the patient's possessions room then making jewelry and stuff using the things in here."
Something suddenly dawned on her and, without warning, Sheena changed the subject. "So, what's the dirt on this really tall bald guy with an obsession with sunglasses and a horrible name? He's fun to tease, but he's also a lying sack of shit sometimes - called you a dirty traitor."
“Hm,” Yuffie glanced at the ceiling thoughtfully, resting her elbows on the table. She wished she’d been able to attend the meeting herself, but… Yeah; She was a multi-talented extraordinaire, but sleepwalking was not on her list of kickass skills and abilities. “So are they only putting boys who volunteer in dresses, or are they gonna make things more fun?”
Probably not. She’d just been about to comment on it further, when Mizuho suddenly changed the subject. “Wait, what? Tall guy, bald… y’mean Rude?”
He’d been spreading rumours about her? Calling her a traitor? How dare he! “Gawd!” She hissed. “And here I thought that the Turks weren’t gonna be so bad to deal with…” Leaning back in her chair, Yuffie folded one arm over her chest - the other arm was busy making frustrated gesticulations as she spoke. “He’s one to talk - he’s done all sorts of crap; you name it, he’s probably done it.”
"Yeah, well, I told him flat out he was full of shit for saying that about you, since you obviously aren't a traitor to your people." Sheena hmphed. "Otherwise you wouldn't be using the Wutai name." Rude hadn't a clue about ninja as far as Sheena was concerned.
