Artemis ran from the Cafeteria into the Sun Room and directly into the bathroom, hand clamped firmly over his mouth.

Haku was right behind Artemis, the nurse promising to wait outside for the boys, keeping an ear out for trouble. Thanking her, he went into the bathroom and towards the stall Artemis was in. Crouching down on the ground, Haku sighed softly.

"I'm sorry to have said that," he began. "But you needed to hear something to break you out of your spiral."

Artemis nodded sniffling and trying to rub stomach acid out of his nose. "I-I understand. I-it was just the i-i-image of you there and..." Artemis broke out into hysterical wails again, resting his forehead on the seat.

Haku stood up and went to the stall, knocking on the open door.

"I was happy to do it. It was my choice. You must remember that. It was what I wanted to do. It was what Renji-san wanted to do."
