For once, this hall was devoid of traffic, though people were beginning to appear in the adjacent areas. Ken simply looked on and ran, seeing little point in staying in one place.
Renamon pulled up a mental map of the path she had to take. She'd run the errand for her Bulletin Board aquaintence first, then see if she could find some items for Dairine.
Renamon became visible on the stairs, still breathing hard. Once she reached the first floor, she allowed herself to rest, only for a minute. She placed her things at her feet and stared at the darkness in the halls, listened to everyone's voices around her.
She felt invisible just in that. And for some reason, that was comforting.
And Renamon graced this hall for the fourth time this night. She was moderately calmer than she's been any of the previous times, and was feeling a bit more like herself.
Her smug self. Her arrogant self. The one that would kick your ass and tell you why exactly you were losing.
Basically, Renamon was looking for a fight.
Instead of moving quickly and sticking to the shadows like she normally did, Renamon moved boldly down the center of the hallway; her movements fluid and effortless, marking her as a predator.
If one of her daytime friends saw her now, they might not recognize her. She smirked. It was time for fun.
Passing Jiraiya, she waved in a teasing way, then smirked, continuing on as he talked to his friend. He seemed to have a lot of the underage girl variety.
Into the main hall, and still not many people. She slid along the wall to the next hallway.

And back to the main hallways.

No where to go but up.
