Oh yeah. This was bad. Grabbing a chair and ignoring the woman who had brought him in, Takaya crossed his arms and glared at the wall. He wasn't going to participate in this bullshit. Being told he had 'company' and that he should he happy about it had ruined what was otherwise an okay day

He reached up on hand and removed the big sunglasses he had been wearing over his eyes. He folded them and tucked them into the pocket of his suit, scanning the room for sign of Alan.
He say the boy sitting, waiting for him, looking as irritated as ever. He suppressed a smile at the sight of him, letting instead his guilt take over.
He had come to apologize. That was worth something wasn't it?
He walked cautiously to the table, unsure how Alan would respond to him. "Good after noon Yamamoto-kun," he stuck with the last name for now. "As cheerful as ever, I see."

"Fuck. You," he snarled. "What the hell?!" Arms uncrossed and he stood up, pointing a finger at Naoe.
"You son of a bitch! How dare you come-" Something finally registered. "What did you call me?"
Shit. Shit shit shit shit.

"Alan," he said, trying to stay calm. "Please don't get worked up. I remember what these people do to you when you start throwing a tantrum." He glanced towards the nurses, wondering if one of them had the needle ready. Alan had a bit of a pattern after all.

"You remember? You... have no idea what these people do to me. And stop calling me that you asshole." He was fighting to stay in control. He had to stay in control.
"You ..." A tremor started up his arms. "You fucking .... I thought you were DEAD. And you... you went over to them."

The gaze that looked up at Naoe wasn't Takaya any longer. "Abandoning me again without a word." He sat down heavily in the chair again, crossing his arms and considering the man that wore Naoe's face. "Fine. Whatever."

"I've realized that what I put you through, what I did to you, is unforgivable and I wanted..." he trailed off. It seemed silly to say 'I'm sorry' right after admitting that his actions were 'unforgivable'. "I care about you," he said after a slight pause. "I want you to get better too."

He laughed. It was soft, and cold, but it was a laugh. "You know, according to the staff here, I'm having a 'good' day. What do you think they mean by that?"

Takaya tried again. "Shit, I don't even... I mean, fuck. You can't be sitting here, tell me all this bullshit and expect me to believe it."

Permission be damned, Adam sat across from Alan, trying to be on his level, trying to make him make sense of it all. "Who was it that told you all those things?" he asked. "Who was it that tried to convince you that you weren't a real person? That's ridiculous. Of course you are. You're real. I was completely insane, and you were victimized because of it."

"You've told me so much shit since I fucking met you, so tell me why the hell I should believe you now?!?"
Reply
"You know who I am," he said. "Somewhere, buried under everything else that I've put there you have to know the truth, Alan. You have to."

Who was pissed.
Keeping his face in his hands, shoulders shaking slightly, he dug back into their memories, sifting through everything for any useful information.
"Fuck." He was familiar enough with Takaya's mannerisms that he could mimic them very well. Takaya couldn't do the same. "Fuck, fuck, fuck." He took a slow shuddering breath.
".....Adam." That was what the staff had called him before, right? He'd been Alan and Naoe had been Adam.

"I don't .... I don't even know what the hell happened. Shit. I don't know why I'm fucking here at all."
Inside he seethed. How dare Landel do this?! If the truly was Naoe sitting across from him, than the good doctor had taken what was rightfully his. And how could Naoe be so weak?!?
