"Nice to meet you, Nny," Momo replied with a small smile. "Hinamori is fine for me. I will not ask that you use my rank."
"Hitsugaya-taichou, the captain, is the one that decides the teams and assignments. He does his best to create teams that work well together and gives them a task suited for them based on the team's composition," she explained. "He may look young, but he is very intelligent and good at his job. That being that case, the most important thing to understand when working with Arts & Crafts, is that you need to listen to the orders of your team lead. We shinigami are a military organization, so we expect our orders to be obeyed."
She smiled then. "But we also expect those on our teams to let us know when they disagree, as long as it's respectful, and we do listen to suggestions. No one's perfect, so having a few extra minds working on the issues at hand will help much more than..."
Momo's words died off when she happened to glance over toward the doors to see the nurses escorting Hitsugaya into the room. She could tell in an instant that something was very wrong with the captain and, from the way he forced himself up and wobbled to the bulletin board, he was sedated. Wait a minute... did this mean he'd had a visitor like she had last week?
The vice captain wasn't sure who could have possibly come to visit Hitsugaya that would cause him to not only lose his temper, causing the sedation, but also make him look so... sick. Concern was clear on her face and she decided right then, that seeing to Hitsugaya was more important than anything.
...and she needed to check that post, because it was the time of the day the captain normally posted assignments.
"My apologies, Nny, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to be rude and take care of a pressing matter," Momo said in a distracted voice. "If you have any further questions, I can answer them tomorrow. Excuse me." With that, the shinigami slid off the seat and, after a quick glance to where Hitsugaya had returned to, she went directly to the board.
