Scar didn't have to think long about which direction to be escorted in for the third shift. He didn't quite enjoy the human activities these nurses forced them to do, so it wasn't much of a surprise that he soon found himself sitting on the grass in the courtyard

Now, that had sucked Desian ass. As entertaining now as the mental image of Kratos covered in orange juice was, the ensuing argument was not. It was a good thing Raine had shown up or she might have just given Kratos a face-full of cereal or something else in the middle of all that. It wasn't her fault he was the current embodiment of betrayal to her, reminded once again how much it hurt to be betrayed when Soubi did it to her

Unfortunately, given Sheena's upside down position and the effects of gravity, he couldn't see her face past her breasts, only some of the purplish-black hair that stick out ever which way from her ponytail. The ninja had felt the man's presence as he got close, so she dropped her hand back to the ground.

She opened her eyes to find herself staring at some guy's shins and she sighed, walking forward on her hands a few paces before shifting her weight to raise the opposite hand than before up off the ground, still managing to balance perfectly. For now.

"You might wanna watch where you're going," Sheena suggested, closing her eyes again. "Unless you've got a foot fetish or something.:

What kind of response was that? It certainly took a long time for the guy to answer her anyways. Wait a minute... was he looking at her breasts instead of answering? Was that why it took him so long?

Feeling a little self-conscious, Sheena let herself fall into a controlled roll and smoothly ended up back on her feet. She turned to face the... really tall man. She'd though Kratos was tall, but when she found she was pretty much eye level with the smiley face on the man's shirt, she realized exactly how tall he was.

One hand moving to free the shirt from where she had it tucked under her bra, the other shaded her eyes as she looked up at the man, shielding them from the sun shining down on them.

"Balance and strength maneuvers are easier to do on the ground when you aren't standing on your feet." Oh, that lucky bastard had sunglasses on. Stupid sun.

Sheena shuffled to the side a bit so she didn't have to shade her eyes anymore. She crossed her arms over her chest and grinned a little.

"Well, yeah. I do," she replied as if it should have been a given. "I'm Mizuho." Then she sighed. "That means I'm ninja."

She certaily wasn't copying the tall man's stance, more of a reaction to the paranoid feeling that she'd been having her chest looked at behind those sunglasses of his. She shifted her weight onto one foot and put a hand on her hip now that the man was looking at his journal.

"Tethe'alla," she replied. "And I'm Sheena. Do you have a name or am I supposed to make one up for you?"

At the man's response, Sheena's eyes narrowed and she put both hands on her hips, her chest slightly thrust forward in her indignation. "I am not! Since when is asking for someone's name after giving your own considered rude?"

"Oh." So that was his name? His mother must have hated him. "Sorry."

Sheena didn't notice the blush, thanks to Rude's dark skin, which was to his benefit. "It's T-E-T-H-E-apostrophe-E-L-L-A. Mizuho is my village."

She tilted her head. "Where are you from, Rude?"

Gaia? Where had she heard that before.... Oh yeah. "That's the same place Wutai - I mean Yuffie - is from." She smiled and stretched her arms up, enjoying the sun. "You two know each other?"
