[From hereThere wasn't any hiding the small smirk at Goku's comment. Occasionally he did something right now and again, by pointing out the obvious like that. Callisto could bitch all she wanted

The last of their group was here. Qui-Gon was glad to see Obi-Wan arrive. His Padawan looked alive and well, although his expression was one of curiosity when he noticed the clothes his friend was wearing. He'd have to explain that next chance he could but, for now, he just acknowledged Obi-Wan with a smile and nod, keeping his words to minimum for now. The group moved out of the Sun Room and into the cafeteria

So far it seemed the woman was unhappy with their current arrangement, and while it probably wasn't wise to completely discount what she had to say, the young Jedi knew there was something to be said about safety in numbers.
As they entered the cafeteria, he made sure to stay on alert, his eyes narrowing as his gaze passed over their surroundings. It had been a long time since he'd last entered the cafeteria at night, but eating in here everyday made him familiar enough with the layout. The kitchen was just up ahead, which was where he assumed they were heading.
"For now, let's stick together," he quietly murmured. They didn't know what they'd be facing tonight, and it was possible they'd need all the help they could get.
Matt paused for just a moment to catch his breath. Then he checked to make sure he hadn't lost anything yet. Flashlight? Check. Pillowcase? Check. All good, then.
What he should have brought was a means to pick locks, because he wasn't made for breaking in doors and now he was feeling quite sore. Bastards had better be grateful for this.
And now Matt had a dilemma to face. If he was to go back the way he'd come from, there was nothing on this side of the wall to help him get a boost over. He could attract the attention of something he didn't want to attract the attention of, and there wouldn't be anywhere for him to go. The same would hold true for the other side of the Courtyard, and he knew he'd seen things happening there.
That left the sun room. From what he'd heard, this was never a safe option. What had he been thinking, even attempting this? Still, if he managed, that was one more thing he could hold over Mello.
Not that he was petty or anything.
Taking a deep breath and preparing himself for the run to come, Matt opened the door into the room beyond.
“Are you sure it’s a good idea to let him go?” the servant wanted to know, pausing by the threshold of the door to let Celes by. He was okay being in the front or the back, where the most mauling usually occurred.
Boy, this group was losing people left, right, and center.
He wasn’t exactly convinced that excellent swordsmen fighting with their comrades wasn’t still an incredibly bad idea, for more than one reason. And especially in Landel’s.
Misplaced chivalry was going to get Ren few favor points, but Celes kept quiet. The last time she'd been in here, she'd frozen a particularly large insect to the floor. Shortly after that, she'd challenged a man to a proper duel, unaware of how much power she'd lost.
Still, just because she couldn't shoot someone down from twenty paces hadn't meant that her skills with a blade had diminished. Only, she still only had a bludgeon. "It probably wasn't the brightest idea, no, but I suppose that Mister Brook would not be talked out of it." Celes didn't especially like the idea that they were dependent on him returning hale.
"No, I'm not, but there's no way we could of stopped him," Archer honestly replied. He was fully aware of how dangerous this place was, especially with the limitations placed on them. His next words were that of a friend instead of a leader. "Brook's the type of person who just can't abandon his comrades when they're in need."
Once in the cafeteria, Lucivar stepped aside to let Renji take the lead. "This is as far as I've been in here," he said, keeping his voice low in case there was something else in there. "Take it from here. I'll follow you close behind."
Renji nodded. "Yeah, I know the way," he said. He was surprised, a little, that was nothing nasty waiting for them in the cafeteria, but there was a first time for anything. He headed quickly for the kitchen, fixed on his objective of the little cold room beyond, and its trapdoor.
Gin ducked into the cafeteria just as the others were sneaking toward the walk in ice box. Their destination was just what he thought it would be and he'd no intention of missing out on the fun. With a smile on his lips, he followed silently after them, keeping his flashlight off and tucked away, but a hand always ready to draw his sword.

Cracking the door open, Archer glanced inside, making sure nothing got the drop on them. "It's clear."
Slowly, he moved inside, remaining vigilant. Just because he didn't see anything didn't mean there wasn't any danger.
"It's this way," he said, motioning towards the kitchen.
