Lust was rather loathe to leave her lunchtime companion when the intercom chimed on. But there would be plenty of time to continue their conversation later, when night fell. Whatever pangs of guilt she still felt were ignored and crushed down - she had nothing to feel guilty for! These human emotions were beginning to get on her nerves. Again

A useless effort, his thought wandered to his last memories, everything that had happened.... fuck. Takaya wanted to hit something. Only that part of him that was less about emotion and more about logic kept him from standing up and shouting or becoming violent. He didn't want a repeat of this morning...

He moved close to him, but didn't sit and didn't get too close. They still needed to discuss their current situation, but perhaps this time it would be better for Takaya to make the choice to start the conversation.

"What? I told you what I know," he snapped.

"Sit down, Naoe." His voice had lowered, though he was still glaring death at the "older" man.

He looked the 'teenager' with calm eyes but what he saw wasn't a teenager. It was his leader. "What do you want to do, Kagetora-sama?" he asked. He figured 'escape' would be on the top of the list, as well as 'survive' but still... if Kagetora wanted Naoe to lie on the ground during night shift and wait for monsters to kill him, Naoe would.

"So maybe talk to..." he turned back to the other man and his glare was harsh once more. "What do you care anyway," he hissed. "You left me there. Left me to wind up here you bastard."

"If," he began to grind out. "If that's true, then all that time... I've been here." He turned to again glare at Naoe. "I'm here, even since you fucking left me standing there, and you're out with some businessman?" His glare turned cold.

He sat back and frowned. "Then I'm glad you wanted to be helpful," he all bu snarled. "And I hope it was worth the effort, but now, why not be helpful here? You don't need to babysit me here, Naoe." He glanced around, looking anywhere but at Naoe. "If it has been months since you last saw me, then why do my memories end there, on that dock, and I only remember two fucking days here?" His voice was soft and thoughtful.

"Perhaps they've altered your memories slightly?" Naoe said with a frown. Would they be able to have that ability? "Or else you were unconscious for those months? Though that doesn't make much sense. I would have been contacted if you went missing... unless the others are here as well, but I spoke with Yasuda recently." He had been calling regularly to make sure that Takaya was alright, even if he hadn't wanted to actually contact the boy himself.
