Day 21: Intercom, Afternoon
The intercom's new "ding" broke through the sound of lunchtime conversations.
"Good afternoon, everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your meal, and I also trust that you'll enjoy our next shift even more! Today, you'll all be making a visit to the Music Room, which has small instruments as well as tape and CD-players available for all your entertainment needs. Of course, if you want to stay away from the sometimes loud sound of music--as it were--you're free to lounge in the Sun Room, although, like I said earlier, please do not abuse your Bulletin Board privileges."
The Head Doctor took a deep breath.
"And that... will... be... all! Yes. Have a fun time, everyone!"
The intercom clicked, made the same sound as it had when it first turned on, and then shut off again.
