Sai leaned his head woozily against the cool glass of the bus window. Helping out his fellow ninja had been a failed effort thus far, and he didn't have any idea how Naruto had been able to put up with that friend of his for so long. If he was asked to lead Sasuke around in the future, unless they came to terms with their differences before then

She sighed and climbed on board, hoping she'd been useful in spite of how little she'd managed to do. There wasn't anyone she knew, except Bridget, though he was welcome enough company. He seemed kind of down though, face buried into Roger's fur.
"Bridget-kun?" she said quietly, not wanting to disturb him if he didn't want company. She let her hand rest lightly on his shoulder, in case he hadn't heard her.

Bridget looked up, face instantly lighting up when Miss Sohma came into view. Beaming, he shifted over and gestured to the seat beside him.

Was he just trying to be nice? She hadn't meant to be obvious about it, but maybe it was her fault. Maybe he didn't like the way the shirt looked on her and he was trying to be nice to make her cover it up or maybe it made him uncomfortable or...
"O-oh, um..." she managed, "Thank you. But um... are... are you sure you don't need your jacket? It's chilly out. I already have one, it's just a little small." She gave a short laugh, folding her arms around her waist and trying to pull the shirt down.

He tilted his head and frowned slightly. "If you're not cold though, that's okay. I wanted to make sure you were comfortable though."

She took the jacket and wrapped it over her shoulders, sending him a thankful smile. "It's more something Kyo-kun would wear I think. He wouldn't like wearing a shirt with a heart on it, but he wears some kind of like this. It's kind of boyish, but they said these were girl's clothes." She said it all with some embarrassment, glad to finally warm up a little.

"If it means anything at all from me, I think you look nice," he offered with a smile. "But I think you could make anything you wore look nice on you."

"You and Roger look cute too. Very handsome," she assured, patting the bear on the head lightly. She didn't really understand the logo on the shirt, but it looked comfortable. "It's too bad we have to go back so soon, it would have been nice to go visit more of the shops, don't you think?"

"I like these trips," he went on. "It's nice to be able to go out, pretend for a little bit that ... things are at least a little normal."

"Mm, today was nice," she agreed. "Made me a little bit homesick," she added wistfully.

Accepting people one cared about, no matter what, and telling them how much you cared were important. He'd seen that plenty of times back home, and it was doubly important whenever you or someone you loved workedaround/with/or against Gears. They might not be seen again.
"It's a bit different than the towns I'm used to," he admitted. "But it's close."

"What are the towns like where you're from Bridget-kun?" she asked curiously.
