Once they were free of the institute and outside the walls, it still felt kind of scary, but it was a breath of fresh air. The going was a little tough in some places, rocky and mountainous as it was and she just knew that she was going to start building up a very unladylike sweat any moment. Gross. Luckily, it wasn't long before they reached a place that looked like it'd been inhabited recently. Maybe.
The first thing Kagura noticed was the trash that started to litter the ground. Empty cans and bottles, food wrappers, and the like. She wrinkled her nose and pressed onward, finding the edge of some kind of giant hole in the ground. Great. They'd come all this way for a hole in the ground?!
At least there weren't any skeletons.
