[ From here!Halfway to the bathroom, he remembered that he'd given Kaito the wrong information about where he was meeting Weaver and realized that he and Robin would be waiting for him back where he started. Just great. Heiji broke into a run, cursing his inability to keep this kind of shit straight ( Read more... )

(From here, AFTER the above has left. Just to be clear. Will repost if there are problems. ^^)

Takaya's eyes had no trouble adjusting to the darker space of the bathroom and he looked around. Someone had already been here... made their job easier though.

Frey, on the other hand, could not see in the dark. He'd grown so accustomed to being in areas where there would be other patients creating a touch of ambient light, or to following someone who didn't have trouble seeing. But now that he actually needed to work in a room where there were no other patients, Frey found himself in difficulty. "Ah... Takaya...?"

Takaya made a questioning sound and turned to face Frey.

There was a long pause.

"Fuck. I forgot. Shit, okay. I,uh... I can either run back to the room alone, with you, or I can just get these pipes and crap myself."

"If you could just guide me a little, it should be all right. Once I have my hands on them, I'll be fine." Frey didn't want Takaya to have to run back to the room, nor did he really like the idea of being left alone in this pitch-black bathroom. But he didn't want Takaya having to do all the work, either! Still, simple destruction of immobile objects could be done mostly by feel... once Frey found the things.

((From here.))

Stopping a runaway friend was definitely more exhausting than fighting a monster, in Adelheid's opinion. But at least he had, that was the important thing. There was one person in the bathroom, which meant that Adelheid had found his man. Good, hopefully this wouldn't take too long. "Sorry for taking so long; do you have what I need to make that weapon for you?"

Heiji looked up when Adel entered the bathroom, his face breaking into a grin. "Hey! Y'must be Weaver, righ'? Hang on a sec--"

With another sound whack, Heiji dislodged another pipe. The detective picked it up, along with another one in the center of the floor and walked over to Adel with both.

"Here," He extended the pipes and the long, three-foot one he'd been using to dislodge the others. "I jus' want somethin' simple. Like a katana. Somethin' with a blade. Go nuts." He grinned, but it didn't last long. His radio crackled to life and spat out the clues. Shit. Kuroba and Robin were probably already waiting for him, and it was their job to get the radio clues tonight. Shiiit.

"Okay, I gotta go pretty quick! When should I pick it up and where?"

"You can just call me Adel," the alchemist said with a quiet smile, still not sure how he'd gotten that particular title. Ah well; it worked well enough, and if everyone else wanted to make use of titles and codes, why not?

It did seem like Heiji was in a hurry, which was understandable. He accepted the pipes that were offered, mentally calculating the reach of Heiji's arms and how much weight he could carry, making a rough guess that probably wouldn't be too far off the mark. "A katana I can do. And tomorrow's going to be the trip to town... just tell me your room number, and if I can get away, I'll leave it there for you. Of course, if we can meet up there, then I can give it to you then."

"Oh! Your name ain't 'Weaver'? Ohh, I guess that was a codename Homura-han thought up, huh?" He laughed. "Sorry Adel, I'll call ya that from now on, promise!"

Heiji thought for a moment, "Well, my room is M93, but I don't think it'll be convenient t'carry somethin' that big inta town, right? Someone'll catch you."

Though, having a weapon just in case the bus incident happened again... that would be a plus to be certain.
