Wolfram had debated slowly as to whether or not he should go out for the night. He was still really worn out from the night before, Aidou was busy, he had no idea where anyone else was that he should be looking for, and quite honestly... staying in and sleeping was more than a little tempting. But his mind was troubled, and he felt a bit restless

"Three days?!" The young Maou exclaimed loudly as he jumped back in surprise. He knew that he didn't have complete control over his ability to move between dimensions, but he didn't think he was that bad at it. "Ahh if I had a better control over my powers we wouldn't be in this mess." Clasping his hands together, Yuuri bowed his head as he sheepishly apologised. "Sorry Wolfram."
If he had arrived three days after Wolfram, then did that mean that the time of Murata's arrival was all messed up as well? That made sense in his mind, and he couldn't find any other way to explain their current situation.
Something wasn't right with what Wolfram had said though.
"Wait a minute… back on Earth?" Blinking when his mind picked it up, Yuuri looked at Wolfram in confusion as he asked. "Wolfram did you hit your head or something?" The Maou asked as he leaned in for a second time to scrutinise his fiancé carefully. There didn't appear to be anything wrong with the blonde, but he wasn't exactly the most observant person at times either.
"Murata was with me in Shin Makoku before we ended up here… or I did… with you…" By the end of the sentence, Yuuri pulled away from Wolfram and bought his hands up to his head to rub them through his hair in frustration. "Aaah this is all so confusing."

He reached up, touching Yuuri's face lightly with his fingers, brushing down the other boy's cheek. And then as he dropped his hand, he began trembling.
"You... Y-You're... sorry? For your powers?"
He sat there for a moment, breathing faster as he tried to comprehend. "No I did not hit my head... tonight," he added with a frown. "But apparently I must have, because you're here and not with your family, like I told you to stay! No... now you're stuck here too, and now I have to protect you from them and make sure we get out, and now you're worried about Murata of all people, you wimpy cheater!"
He hugged himself tightly, curling up into a ball on the bed. None of this made sense, and he was so very confused.

"Eh? Family. Stay? Huh?" Yuuri mumbled intelligently as he blinked owlishly towards his blonde companion. Their conversation only seemed to be confusion Yuuri further when Wolfram continued talking. What was Wolfram going on about? The last thing he remembered was running away from Wolfram after the blonde Mazoku had reinstated their engagement.
"What are you talking about? That happened weeks ago after we defeated Soushu." That was the only time Wolfram had ever said such a thing to him, but he'd been back and forth to Shin Makoku numerous times since then that it didn't matter anymore - but more importantly of all. "And I'm not a wimp!" Yuuri cried out as Wolfram curled up into a ball on the mattress of the bed.
He was surprised by that action, and after taking a step forward, Yuuri reached out to lightly touch Wolfram's arm as he softly called out. "Hey Wolfram, what's wrong?"
Reply
"I don't know what you're talking about." His voice was muffled into the pillow, and his head was swimming again as he sniffled rather suspiciously. "You went back home. It was the last time! They said you couldn't come back! You're supposed to be safe now! Not... not..."
He did his best to try and calm down. Yuuri should never have to see him this upset, but he was just so completely caught off-guard...

None of this made sense, and unless there was some strange time distortion happening in this weird nut house, something else was very definitely wrong.
Could it be possible that his inter-dimensional travelling had someone sucked through a Wolfram from the past? But time travel was something for cartoons and science fiction; not real life. Sitting down on the floor with his legs and arms crossed, Yuuri nodded his head at his own thoughts. Yet even as he agreed, the young Maou also couldn't help but note that inter-dimensional travel was also meant to be nothing but science fiction, and he'd done that more times than he could count.
So was it possible? There only seemed to be one way to find out.
"Hey Wolfram," Yuuri began as he peered up with a serious expression at the curled up lump on the bed. "What was the last thing you remembered before waking up here?"

Or maybe Yuuri would choose now to suddenly get more observant. But not answering would make it worse, so...
"What difference does it make?" he finally mumbled, voice shaking just as he knew that it would. "You were gone, so all the days blend together anyways. T-They've been busy having meetings to decide on the next Maou. But it should be yours! Y-You..."
He stopped when his voice cracked completely, ignoring Yuuri's presence completely for a moment while he tried to calm down. He didn't understand why he was reacting so strongly.

He found himself surprised by the shaky reply when it was finally given. Not once in his entire time in Shin Makoku had he ever heard Wolfram this vulnerable, and as his expression saddened, the young Maou's shoulders visually sagged down as well as he listened. He'd just been to the Bielefeld territory to get Wolfram back from all of that mess, and it appeared that the weight of the burden still remained around this Wolfram. That would be the only thing that could explain all of this if he was reading Wolfram's words right.
A sense of panic tore through him at that thought though, and he gasped loudly as he thought about the possible repercussions for messing with the past. What if he undid everything? There were always horrible stories about such things happening, and would telling Wolfram about the future cause a chain reaction to where he would never be born, or change the defeat of Soushu?! Shaking his head for a second time, Yuuri banished those thoughts form his mind as he mentally admonished. 'Come on Shibuya! You're only talking a couple of weeks and not years here.'
Pushing himself back up to stand, Yuuri brushed off his pants as he murmured. "Wolfram, it's alright." Glancing down at the blonde Mazoku, Yuuri smiled comfortingly as he continued. "It seems as though whatever dragged us here has pulled us in from different times. Yes, I did return to Earth after defeating Soushu, but that was quite a while ago and I've been back to Shin Makoku since then."

"It's alright? How is any of this alright, Yuuri? You left, and now you're here in this damn asylum where no one has yet to find the way out, and how am I supposed to keep you safe here when I can't even do it myself, and now you're telling me that you're from some kind of future?!"
He grabbed on to Yuuri's arm again, squeezing as tightly as he dared. "I can't lose you again! Not like this! You shouldn't be here, and it's not alright, it's not!"
Eyes burning, even though he was certain all the acid was gone, he buried his face into Yuuri's shirt sleeve and sobbed silently. It probably didn't help that he was still really tired at this point. He was incredibly embarrassed beyond belief, but couldn't seem to stop himself either.

Pausing in mid-flail, the young Maou's body relaxed as those words were yelled at him. He stumbled forward at the arm grab; Yuuri's eyes widened in shock as he heard the desperate determination from Wolfram. He supposed that Wolfram did have a point about that, but he had eventually returned didn't he? What was there to get so upset about?
Bringing up his free arm, Yuuri placed his hand on top of Wolfram's head as the blonde Mazoku quietly sobbed against his shirt. He was certain that Wolfram's time here must have been hard on him. Yuuri felt calm despite their situation, and as Wolfram clung against his arm, the young Maou spoke.
"It's not like I can't take care of myself Wolfram; I can walk on my own. Besides, I'd rather be stuck here with you than know that you're here by yourself." How that made sense, Yuuri didn't know, but that didn't mean that he didn't mean those words either. Glancing down at the top of Wolfram's head, Yuuri smiled as he urged, "We're in this together, right Wolfram?"

"You don't get it," he finally said softly. "You haven't seen... anything yet. There are dangerous things here in the dark, and you're not even trained like I am..."
He was interrupted by a yawn, which he quickly fought back. He needed to talk to Yuuri, make him understand that this really wasn't a game. The power of the Maou probably meant nothing in this place, considering how weak his fire was, even if Yuuri was the stronger of the two in human territories.
"Things here will attack you... that thing in the kitchen last night was..." He stopped, sighed loudly, still rather worked up. "Promise me that you won't do anything stupid, and never go out alone." He would rather have said 'without me' but at this point he wasn't sure if that would always be possible. He shivered as he curled up closer into Yuuri's side, expecting to be pushed away at any moment.

The young Maou glanced over what little he could see of Wolfram's body as the blonde spoke of things attacking them. "When do I ever do anything stupid?" Yuuri murmured. He'd heard the same type of thing from Cloud that morning, but as he eyed the bandage wrapped around Wolfram's hand, Yuuri finally saw the reality of it.
"Hey, Wolfram, you're injured!" Yuuri's words continually grew louder as the realisation hit him. Leaping away from Wolfram, Yuuri quickly spun around as he pushed the blonde Mazoku back against the mattress. With a serious expression slipping over his face, the young Maou glanced up to Wolfram as he reached out to hold his hand over Wolfram's injured one. He felt the tug as his maryoku activated and a soft blue hue of light emitted from the palm of his hand. "Are you injured anywhere else?"

Wolfram blinked down at his wrist and tried to shrug it off. "It's nothing, almost doesn't hurt anymore. But if you must know, I have a scratch on my shoulder and bite marks on my leg. I was lucky. At least the acid was mild enough.."
Hopefully admitting to the injuries would help Yuuri realize how dangerous it really was. "You should save your energy, it's... alright... mmm..."
But the healing calmed his mind anyways, making him feel a little warmer as his head clouded with sleepiness. It was a lot harder to fight off when Yuuri was doing this. Any rest he'd gotten today had been plagued with nightmares, and it felt like ages since he'd truly relaxed. But if Yuuri was going to go back out there, he'd follow anyways, just as he followed him through any of the worst ship rides back home.
Besides, he still wasn't completely convinced that he wasn't dreaming already, and if he wasn't careful, he would just disappear again.

Was he hearing right? Yuuri wondered as Wolfram began listing off every injury he'd received so far. With each new addition, Yuuri's eyes continued to widen in horror as he loudly gasped. "Acid?!" What was Wolfram doing playing with such a dangerous thing!
It felt as though he was using far more maryoku than normal as Yuuri continued to heal Wolfram's wounded wrist. That wasn't normal, the Maou thought as the glow faded and he glanced down to his hand while flexing his fingers. It could have just been because of his previous dimension blunder that got him into this mess in the first place, but that thought didn't sit well with Yuuri.
Wolfram seemed to calm as his maryoku washed over the blonde Mazoku. He'd need to see the other injuries to make certain they wouldn't get infected, or if Wolfram was playing them down too much. "I've got enough in me to patch you up," Yuuri muttered as he pulled his hand away after healing Wolfram's previously injured wrist. "How does it feel?"

Wolfram grew quiet, lost somewhere between dozing and thoughtfulness. "Um... it's better. But you really don't have to."
Honestly he was secretly loving the attention he was getting, since Yuuri only rarely gave it to him freely. He unconsciously leaned in closer towards Yuuri, sighing sleepily.

It was then that he noticed the blonde's enclosing proximity, and as Wolfram leaned in closer, Yuuri felt his pulse quicken as panic quickly overtook his senses. What was Wolfram doing?! He'd been acting strange ever since he bumped into the blonde on the way to me..e...t. Yuuri's eyes widened in dawning horror as he leaped away from the bed and cried out.
"Ah! I'm meant to be meeting Hoho tonight! Ahhh how could I forget!" Scrambling back over to the bed, Yuuri's hands snapped up to tightly grasp the bedsheets. "Hey Wolfram, what's the fastest way to get to the-" Pausing for a mere moment to think of the word he'd lost, Yuuri sounded a noise of accomplishment as he continued, "-Activities Shed?"

"You've been here one day, and you're already meeting other men?" he pouted with a frown. "That would be... out by the large recreational field they made us go out to yesterday. I think we can get there going that way." He pointed in a northern direction.
It was purposely "we" that he used, because Yuuri was most certainly not going out there on his own. After all, who knew what kind of person this man was anyways? At least, he assumed that this 'Hoho' was a man.
