ZEX wasn't stupid, and he had a good idea of what the nurses wanted with his roommate that night. Whether or not he'd be tortured, or perhaps brainwashed, ZEX couldn't say. It was clear, however, that Kunzite didn't seem to have a choice in the matter.
Which brought him back to worrying about his Captain again. While his Captain had assured him, repeatedly, that he wouldn't leave without him, or wouldn't get into any sort of danger, such assurances meant nothing in the face of something that paid no attention to your resistance. Had nurses entered his Captain's room as well, dragged him off for some kind of hideous tortures? He shuddered at the thought.
However, Xigbar had promised him that he'd come by to see him tonight... but had also not responded to his note asking him about it earlier. Perhaps he'd forgotten? Even though he'd promised him quite fervently that he'd return... ZEX got the feeling that Xigbar perhaps wasn't as interested as he might have hoped. Enough so that the idea of leaving tonight to check on his dear Captain wasn't a hard decision. He'd contact Xigbar tomorrow, perhaps, but as it was...
And it seemed like his light was about to stop working... he'd replaced its energy canisters when it had died before, but he was now solidly out of them. When shaken, he got some flickering light out of it, but that was all. That would have to do, he supposed... perhaps his Captain would have some more.
Although it looked like it would be a long journey to his room this way.
