For the most part he tried to stay still as he was inspected, although that didn't make the forced angle any less uncomfortable. He hadn't counted on it, but it did make sense. He'd probably be forced to tilt his head in similar angles when looking in a mirror anyway, and this way he had the confirmation of someone other than himself.

... confirmation he found he really didn't want. That was about the same color he'd made Silabus' eyes in The World. If his hair was the same and his eyes, it stood to reason that his face must have been similar as well. Vexed, Silabus put his hand to his chin and began thinking backwards.

"I don't really know," that was for the contacts part, which he considered a bit before dismissing the idea; he didn't feel like he was wearing them, so he probably wasn't. To his knowledge there wasn't any kind of surgery to change someone's eye color either (unless you counted transplants). "It seems like that would be kind of pointless, why would anyone want to wear contacts here?" Those kind anyway.

That wasn't the issue, the issue was how this was possible.

Silabus returned to looking at the other patient. "Yeah, thanks," he'd have to present a few more questions to be absolutely sure though, "Do you mind if I ask you anything else?"

Wally felt the kid stiffen slightly while he was checking his eyes, but dismissed it. He had wanted to know what colour they were, for whatever reason. How else did he think Wally was going to check? Though, considering that the kid seemed uncertain as to what colour his own eyes were, maybe he really hadn't thought this through, or had an ulterior motive. He wasn't sure what kind of ulterior motive would involve getting someone to look at your eyes, but he supposed there could be one.

"What do you mean, you don't know if they're contacts or not? Wouldn't you have had to put them in if they were?" he asked. He'd figured that it was unlikely that someone in an institute would be allowed to wear contacts, but he hadn't thought that the kid would be so clueless about his own eyes. It was weirding him out a little.

Wally shrugged at the question. The kid seemed harmless so far, if more than a little odd, and it wasn't as if he had anything else to do at the moment. "Sure, fire away," he said.
