Jack Horner stolled into the sun room and sighed. As far as days went, today was particularly unremarkable and dull. That wasn't to say it couldn't get better...there was still dinner. He glowered. Was it too much to ask for a day that made being attacked by the monsters at night worth it?
He fell back into one of the couches and glanced about the room. There weren't that many people there yet and those who were there held no interest to him. Damn it.

Hadn't that been full of thrills and chills? Elle was feeling particularly unhappy when her nurse showed her into the Sun Room, mumbling something about Elle having had too much fresh air already today.
Showers, people like Reid, those awful monster things at night... she couldn't decide which was worse. At least she had Eddie.
There was absolutely no one of interest in the Sun Room, except a rather attractive man who looked terribly bored. She could fix that for him, and maybe cheer herself up, too. Even if his hair was rather girly.
Pasting a grin onto her face, Elle bounced over to the man. "Hey handsome," she said in her typical cheery girlish voice. "What's got you down?"

"I was just lamenting how lonely it is on this couch." He patted the cushion next to him. "Having a lovely lady such as yourself to keep my company would solve that, though."

With a wide grin, Elle jumped onto the couch and perched there on her knees. "So what's your story?" she asked, running one finger down the side of his face. He had some dark stubble on his chin, which was sort of a novelty; all her other boys were clean-shaven. She ghosted her thumb back and forth across his little beard, enjoying the scrub-brush feel of it.

"And you, darling? What about you?"

"Grew up in Ohio, went into the family business," she said vaguely. More or less truthfully, too.
With effort, she pulled her focus back into the here and now, settling her eyes on his and bursting into another grin. "I'm Elle. What's your name?"

He didn't bother asking if she'd seen his films. At this point, he'd pretty much determined that no one had. Such a pity too, all those Mundys, missing out on how incredibly awesome he was...
"So, Elle," Jack continued, looking deviously at the nurses, then to her. "What sorts of things do you like to do for fun?"

This was sounding a bit too much like a conversation two people might have on a date at the local diner. Boring.
He didn't seem put off by either her name or the way she looked, so it was a safe bet he either hadn't read those posts on the bulletin board before she'd crossed them off, or he really didn't care. And he didn't seem put off at all by her touching him.
With practiced ease, she swung one leg over his hips so she was straddling him. Normally she might hold herself back, especially if Daddy was around, but she was growing increasingly agitated. Stirring up a little trouble might be just the way to make herself feel better. If only her abilities were working, she could melt John's brains and watch them dribble out his ears.
She laced her fingers together behind his neck and leaned back so she could look him in the eye. "What do you do for fun?"

How far would the staff let this go? They weren't lookin' this way, were they? Seeing no harm in trying, Jack wrapped his arms around Elle and attempted to move her forward for a kiss.

But it felt nice. His full attention was on her instead of whatever Eddie and Reid and Peter were always thinking about. Scratch that, it was just Eddie these days. She still wasn't sure what she was going to do about Peter... She could get Sylar to kill him, true, but it had been so long since he'd run away and she missed having him at her disposal.
While her brain was thinking through that, her lips were on auto-drive, going through the motions she'd practiced with Adam. Move like this, use some tongue action to get his mouth open, get control of the kiss. Usually, when her heart started beating faster, she couldn't help generating electrical current - it just happened. But of course it didn't now. No spark. Poor John, he was missing out.

...not that he'd bring it up. Not while she was being so friendly.

"Aren'tcha a bit quick, there?" she teased him cheerfully, smiling. He seemed to be interested in exactly one thing. And she was pretty sure she could use that.

She he tried to draw Elle back, kissing her neck and trying to work his way up.

Once again, she pulled out of the kiss, touching a finger to his lips so he wouldn't talk. "Meet me tonight. You'll like it, I promise." And he would like it. Adam and Peter certainly had.
Okay, they were more or less immortal, but that didn't mean John couldn't enjoy himself just because he might die.

He pursed his lips. "And a location," he added, realizing he didn't know WHERE she wanted to meet. The last nightshift had been a disappointment and he would see to it that he had a romp in the sack finally. He smirked. "I hope you can handle it."

Elle smiled innocently and let her eyes wander across his face, catching her lip between her teeth again. "Right after dinner," she told him in a vague voice. "Your room."
