An intricate circle traced in golden light flared to life on the floor beneath him, and his form was hidden for an instant by a white glow. When it faded Yue was there in his place, eyes closed, but as the circle vanished he turned an icy glare on his roommate. Annoyance was easy to read on his usually-neutral expression; not only was his transformation no longer under his control, it had to be seen by someone else. Even though Yukito had already told him about it, Ken didn't need to see it happen.
"Don't tell anyone." Yue's voice was easily as cold as his expression, the request not so much of one. The one who had done this to him was out of reach, and Ken was a much easier target.

The assassin stood and moved to the table next to the bed, pulling his weapon out and fastening it over his hand, adjusting straps and buckles and clenching his fist once to make sure the mechanism that extended the claws worked smoothly.
"Be careful tonight." Ken had no plans himself, he was considering searching out the rest of his team.

"I will," he replied, still a bit curt. The guardian wondered briefly if he should bring the radio along, but finally decided to travel light. Just the bat and the flashlight, then; the coat might be useful for the pockets, but he wasn't planning to pick up anything this time. Once finished with his preparations, Yue glanced toward his roommate and gave him a nod that almost verged on polite. "You as well."
