Well that chocolate cake tasted mighty good. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw a depressed Brook. Insert evil smirk. "It's not my fault you finished your cake so quickly. You should learn to take the time and savor your meal; it's not like it's going to run away from you."
Hefting his pillow case, full of his materials and sword, over his left shoulder, Archer held his flashlight in his right, scanning the hallway. "Ready?"
"But it fell on the floor!" Brook protested, depression showing as he sulked out after Archer, metal bat trailing along the ground due to his slackened posture. "And you eating yours in front of me like that was just cruel! I was only worried for you, and that's why mine ended up on the floor in the first place! So mean, Archer-san!"
And yet he was following his roommate out anyway. He had no other choice really. After the late start thanks to Archer's cake cruelty Brook was certain that he wouldn't be able to find any member of the crew in Luffy's room. They were all going other places tonight, and while he was sure that Nami would be heading for the basement (a venture he wouldn't willingly undertake), he wasn't so sure where Luffy and Zoro would end up. He'd not been given an assignment either, so that left him on his own to find either a Nakama or, as he was going now, an instrument! Archer knew the way to the music room from here, and he'd been helpful with directions so far!
It felt like days since he'd last been here. Before meeting with his team, he wanted to drop off some extra weight, emptying everything out, save for his weapons. His bow was worn around the upper half of his body, keeping his hands free. In the end, he was left with his flashlight, sword, two arrows, and a bow. Everything seemed in place. Now, he was ready to meet with his team. Hopefully they wouldn't be too angry with his tardiness.
