Phew, almost there! This felt like the shortest time that it had ever, ever taken Xigbar ever to traverse these familiar hallways. But heck, all a matter of perspective, right? Didn't matter about how long it really took, s'long as there was something else to look forward to once he got there. And while he wasn't expecting anything more than cards to the face... hey, s'long as Luxord was up enough to fling 'em, that'd be good enough. Yep yep yep~!

So... it was rather slow going when he had a weight bearing down on him, but that was just a necessary burden to drop off before he did something a whole lot better. Just one foot in front of the other, and they'd be there before they knew it!

If that happened, who would carry Luxord in his condition? Besides, he might fall onto a deadly sharp hipbone or some such, and he had enough of that beforehand. ...not that he was going to start thinking about that. If he kept telling himself it did not happen, it didn't.
