Jade was rather used to these quiet meals nowadays. It didn’t provide much in the form of entertainment, but they were efficient and that was all that mattered. He quickly finished his meal and began preparing for the night, gathering the same materials as the previous night before setting out into the hall

Naomi was practically jogging as she turned the corner into L's hallway, her flashlight gripped tightly in her hand. And now she was glad she'd picked up the pace in getting here. Ryuga was already out in the hall!
"What are you doing?" she asked, slowing as she approached him. Why was he outside his room by himself? Monsters could easily be in the hallway!

With an air of seriousness about him, Zoro excited his room, ran down the short length of the hallway to room 71, wondered where he was for a second before doubling back and heading towards where he thought Luffy's room was.

....everything was soft and dark, and he was laying some room he didn't recognize. Oh shit. If this was a particularly good dream - and judging from the fact that nothing hurt, it might be - he'd roll over and find a dozen cartons of cigarettes laying beside him and keeping the rest of the bed warm and welcoming. He'd take that over the token ugly-chick-who-looked-hotter-last-night. Badou pushed the covers away. No? No. A man could hope and even his dreams would just crush it ( ... )

Well, here was the hallway... now where was the Nocturne? Xigbar glanced down the hallway as though expecting Demyx to pop up right then and there. When such was not the case, he pondered what to do. He had a bow and his flashlight, and his pokeball in his pocket, maybe he could just go on ahead?
...nah, he'd never live it down if Demyx got eaten after being ditched. And it could be fun! Trying to avoid the sneaking suspicion that he was becoming responsible, Xigbar called out, "Hey, Nine! You here? Hurry up or I'm gonna ditch you!"

Of course, knocking, Demyx realized belatedly when he heard his friend bellow, wasn't really Xigbar. Yelling from a distance and waiting for results was more his style.
Scrambling off his bed and yanking open the door, Demyx catapulted out into the hallway. He definitely didn't want to get left behind. "I'm here!" he yelped.

"Good!" The Freeshooter called out with an amused lilt to his voice, putting a hand on his hip as he motioned the other Nobody onward. "Take a deep breath, though, or you'll attract all kinds of creepy-crawlies. An' stay on my left side, okay?"

He took a deep breath, as instructed - how would that help? He had no idea, but if Xigbar said so - and moved over to stand beside him; on his left side, as instructed. "Why your left side?" he asked. "I mean, if I was on your right, I could be your eyes over there, couldn't I?"
