Axel pulled back his sleeve, gazing passively at the imaginary watch on his wrist in an attempt to make time go faster. The other rooms were finally starting to open and other patients were beginning to file out. He was pretty sure he'd seen Sora amidst all of this, but the Keyblade Master looked like he was in a hurry to get somewhere.
People sure liked to take their time, didn't they?
Axel sighed for what felt like the nineteenth time within the past 5 minutes, too caught up inside his own mental woes to notice the figure in white approach him until the latter spoke up. He blinked once before gazing down at the other patient, taking the time to study the latter's duds before grinning.
"You betcha." Axel replied, letting his hands rest on his hips. He sure hit it lucky with a cute girl!

[From here gd it I can do things right sometimes D:]
It figured that the room they were trying to get to would be the one farthest from the block entrance. Eager to be rid of the excess baggage, Anise skipped ahead of the Colonel, down towards the end of the hall.
When she spotted the Fon Master from about halfway, she raised her right arm and gave a slightly awkward - but enthusiastic as ever! - wave with the pipe. "Ion!" she called.
It looked like he was with some shady-looking guy, who was probably their third member for the night. Axel, was it? Weird name, though she'd definitely heard weirder by now. Once she caught up, she gave them both a friendly smile. No matter who the guy was, it was always important to make a good first impression! "You didn't wait long, did you?" she asked.

He figured that Anise was a girl name, but what was this one trying to say? Axel refused to believe that someone with such a butter face was a dude, but after working alongside Zexion for a few years he became a little more open-minded about these things.
But anyway, the subject quickly switched over to his Organization uniform and he couldn't help but grin again.
"Nah, it's mine. Not so sure if I should be wearing it lest I be mistaken for some brainwashed victim, but I'll take my chances for tonight."
It was then that the real Anise decided to stop by, followed by some tall chick with a meat cleaver. He looked out of place with his own choice of clothing, but Axel had long since gotten used to the fact that not everyone dressed as dramatically as him.
"Not as long as I expected, no." The Nobody replied with a smile, but his eyes began to wander between his two teammates. It didn't take a genius to see the height difference, one large enough to make Axel sigh.

M5? Anise would remember that. There was a chance she'd be looking for Ion's room in the future.
So this guy really was Axel. Well, on the bright side, he looked like he could hold his own - if that unique weapon was any indication. And if not, at least Anise wasn't going to be expected to be the first to take a stand if it came to a fight. It was up to the bigger, stronger men to protect girls like her! Naturally.
"I'm glad! You're Axel, right? Nice to meet you! I'm Anise," the girl chirped at him, as bubbly as ever but somewhat hurriedly. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted the Colonel entering Room M1. That was mean, going ahead without her!
Giving the sack a tug, shifting its weight on her shoulder just a bit, she told them, "I just have to drop this off, and then we can get moving. Okay? I'll be right back!" As soon as she said it, she spun on her heel and darted over to the nearby patient room.
"Okay, all done!" Anise called as she returned from the room, no longer carrying the big sack. "I'm ready to go anytime!"
Come to think of it, there was one thing she wasn't too sure of. "Where are we going, anyway?" She knew they were supposed to be exploring, but she didn't know exactly which areas were still totally uncharted. From the bulletin, it sounded like Axel had some idea, so she directed her questioning look at him.
Most of all, Anise just hoped this wouldn't end as badly as her last exploring trip.

Axel wasn't sure he liked the way those two pairs of eyes were staring back at him, but what was a guy to do? He was obviously the oldest out of the bunch, plus he could easily assume that he'd also been there the longest, probably longer than the other two combined. It'd make the most sense for him to take hold of the reins tonight, and that's just what he did.
"I actually wanted to check out the commotion that was going on in the intercom earlier. The Head Doc said something about the 'Second floor, East Wing, North Hall 2-B' so we might as well see what the deal's about while it's still early."
The redhead had also wanted to go down and explore the basement, but that obviously wasn't going to happen since another group was assigned that privilege.

Second floor, East Wing, North Hall 2-B...
Anise definitely remembered hearing about it. How could she forget? For the earlier part of this night, her ears had been ringing from the alarm that sounded with that announcement. But didn't the same announcement call for the security staff to head there? Anise had seen the mutations of the nurses and orderlies that took place at night. If that hall was crawling with creepy things like those, then no way did she want Ion dragged into that!
"You want to go there!?" Anise couldn't quite hide her surprise, or her worry. Slowly, she turned her gaze to Ion. "That's... really dangerous, isn't it?"
"I figured that anything that's announced with that much emphasis on the intercom might be worth chasing after." Axel explained to the both of them, wagging his finger before pointing it straight up at the ceiling.
"I think it'd be beneficial to at least check it out for a few minutes, just to make sure we aren't missing anything. And besides, if there's anything extremely dangerous then we can just bolt out of there." Of course, the redhead was pretty capable of handling his own weight, especially since he had a formidable weapon conjoined to his hip. However, since Roy put him up for babysitting duty then he couldn't ignore his responsibility as such.
Axel glanced over at the other end of the hallway, figuring that they weren't going to get anywhere if they spend the entire time debating where to go. And so he made his way to the set of doors, making sure the other two were following him before ducking into the next area.

Roy sure had a funny way of pairing people up.
