[from here]The shinigami moved quickly and quietly, her steps through the women's block ingrained into her motor memory at this point. She wouldn't even need to be paying any amount of attention and still be able to find Signum's room as well as a few select others. As she passed by Hokuto's room, Momo glanced over, hoping the girl was going to

Edward's face was one of digust as he slowed to a walk, breathing in once, calming already erratic nerves. It wasn't Bella's blood, which was good, but... who would be bleeding this far into the patient blocks? It may have been the female's block, but this was far from menstrual blood.
At least it was on the end of the hallway, opposite from Bella's room. As he moved further in, he could even see a pair of pants lying discarded, several feet from two torn sleeves. This scent was different, but all too familiar.
He ran the last leg, quickly tearing the door to F24 open, but easing himself into the room quietly. "Bella?" His voice was soft, despite the chill in his spine. He could see her clearly through the darkness - looking bored, but fine.
He asked, anyway. "You're not hurt, are you?"

She froze, wondering what he had seen in the hallway to cause him to suddenly burst into her room. Had he seen something? Was someone out in the hallway?
Frowning, Bella tried her best to control her heart before she took a step closer to Edward, her right hand reaching out to grasp gently onto one of his own, her fingers entwining with his longer ones. Something had happened to worry him, and in turn this worried her as well. “Don’t worry, I’m fine. I’ve just been sitting here, being bored out of my mind. It’s really kinda hard to draw in the near darkness, you know.”

There was no sense in trying to hide it - she'd worm it out somehow. "There was blood on the other end of the hall," he sighed, closing his eyes. He hadn't forgotten what they looked like now. He kept telling himself this wouldn't end up as a mistake. "And what felt like... smelled like a vampire."
At this, he opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling. "Something was off about it, but it was essentially the same. It worried me, of course."

Rhode hated when she had a bad start to the evening, it always made things so much more difficult. What did she want to do this evening? Anything would be better than what had ended up happening last light. No looking for some goody-goody to lead around by the hand tonight then. Looking for the basement was still something she was interested in, but even after first learning about it all those nights ago she still had no real idea of where it was except for being down. Why weren't there stairs going down in this place?
She tapped along the hallway leading out, mulling over thoughts of how to have fun as she headed for the larger hallways. There were always people she could latch onto out there. Usually.

And normally, a meal like Yukari would be in pieces and quite certainly dead after the fact, but Diva couldn’t have said if the girl was dead yet. As soon she heard the click of the door unlocking (and what a noisy, noisy intercom announcement that had been) she had immediately dropped what she had been doing and left, kicking the door open and disappearing with a swirl of tangled hair. Her pants were slipped off somewhere in the hall, also kicked aside. (She hadn’t gotten blood on the pants, no, but she found she didn’t like them. After all, the staff ordered her to wear them, and Diva hated orders.) Of course, there was ( ... )

With Diva gone, Yukari spent several long moments on the floor, legs curled up against her chest, catching her breath. Another twinge of pain reminded her that she should do something about the wound on her neck. Thankfully, it didn't feel as bad as yesterday's encounter, but it certainly didn't count as something small that could be brushed off. She felt light-headed again, though whether her complexion showed it again or not, she couldn't tell. Finally pulling herself away from her spot, Yukari dug out the flashlight from under her pillow and clicked it on.
"Uhg." She brushed two fingers beneath the bite and made a disgusted look at the blood she wiped off. What the heck could she use, there weren't any nurses around with their nice little bandages to patch it up again. Looking around quickly, ( ... )

The voice calling to her from the hall caused her to look back over her shoulder at its source. "Hokuto-chan..." Once again, Momo sounded very much like she was over a century in age, the weight of time in her voice. "You were supposed to wait in your room," she stated. There was a reason she had wanted the girl to stay in her room.
After a moment, she sighed heavily. "Don't just stand there... come inside." The shinigami walked over to the knight's closet and began looking for what she needed.

So Signum wasn't in her room. Was she still here at all? Hokuto knew she shouldn't, but blurted out "Can you still sense her?" before she could really stop herself. She would attempt to resume acting as the soldier she still wasn't in a second; for now, she was a teenage girl worried about her friend.
She was standing somewhat at attention, but her hands were locked behind her back instead of at her sides, a sign of the tenseness she couldn't hide. Signum had been in the riot, and... what? Had the lingering sedation disagreed with her so much she was in the hospital wing?
And what would that be like at night? Hokuto tried not to shiver, and clenched her hands together more tightly.

The shinigami grabbed the small bag of fertilizer and set it on the knight's desk behind her. She turned back into the closet. "...it is difficult, though. I'm not sure where exactly she is." This was not a conversation she wanted to have at that moment.
"Please retrieve her sword," Momo instructed. Signum normally hid the sword underneath her mattress and since she didn't know how long the knight would be kept where she was, the shinigami wanted the knight's weapon kept safe.
