So far Parker hadn't given them much information to work on, except confirmation that Logan did have some kind of powers. Brock wasn't really keen on the idea of a truce, even if they did plan for it to be temporary. But the fact was he knew jack shit about Logan or whatever powers he had, which could make any brawling a bit hairy if he didn't have any idea what he was going up against. They'd already been injured by Kasady just going in gunning for him. They weren't going to make the same mistake twice with Logan.
It still killed Brock to have to put on a smile and act like he didn't want to string up the dwarf.
It also felt downright weird to be on any kind of civil terms with Parker.
The dinner was tempura, which wasn't too out there as far as they were concerned. Brock didn't mind tempura, and, as for the symbiote, it didn't care about the stuff - human food kept the Host alive, it didn't do anything for it. The food tasted a little bland to Brock. The blond grimaced a little. Probably an early warning sign that they'd have to feed in a few days; he'd noticed that he started getting more and more bored, then nauseated, with regular food when they became hungry.
As for what they needed to do; Brock was all for finding Kasady and killing him, finding out Logan's freak powers and kill him, do something about their Spider (he wasn't sure just what), get some real food, and then it was fair game at that point.
