[From here.]All in all, it appeared to have been good timing on his part to leave the hallway when he did, having no desire to partake in the struggle that was going on only several yards away. There had to be something of use on this level - the previous knights exploration turned out to be rather fruitful. The door to their left was already broken-- which meant that someone was either in there or had already been through, and Zelnick had a feeling no-one here was stupid enough to leave useful things where they lay-- so he tried the door on their right. Locked, but that hadn't stopped him before; he put his skillet in the basket, just for a moment, to free his hands as he attacked the doorknob with his flashlight. A few (noisy) moments later, it broke off, and he flicked on his flashlight to shine it around the room.

"This looks promising," he said, and led them in.

As the Elicoorian glanced to the various doors in this hall, Albel noticed that one of them had a lock lying in front of it. If some maggot had bothered with removing the lock, the captain figured that something useful might be lying around. Besides, it would at least save him the trouble of slamming himself against a door. It was worth a shot, or at least a glance.
