Day 20: Professor Oak's Office [Doctor's Office 3]
Lunch wasn't very productive. Oak had his tea but something about it seemed lonely. Perhaps it was the absence of his friend, Krabby. This wasn't something he didn't anticipate, of course he realized he'd have to become accustomed to life outside of his pokemon research facility, but that didn't mean the first day wasn't difficult. The awkwardness, the strangeness.. It reminded him of the way the trainers - or should they be called patients? - came in, though to be perfectly honest most of them had been less awkward and more forward.
The member of Team Rocket had been especially so. Ah, yes, that one.. He still had to consider what would be done in regards to her, the authorities were the best ones to handle it. However, if she was here then it was possible to reform her, have her reconsider her thieving ways.
No, once a bad seed, always a bad seed. Or that's how the saying went, this time he'd have to try it. He had promised himself not to switch her doctors, sending her to the police would have been just as much of an admittance of defeat. That wasn't something Professor Oak enjoyed doing, though eventually he imagined it would come down to that.
Professor Oak's tea set was still on his desk by the time the next session started. The kettle was full of warm tea, but since his desk space was being used by that, everything that had been on it before was nestled on the floor. The computer, now no where near completely put together, and papers added to the already messy room.
